"Sometimes I worry that you guys don't like me as it is because of all the things we've done" awwww :( Although this is really sad and painful to watch, I actually like it a lot too because it shows what a genuinely nice, considerate person Dan is. The fact that, as far as he knew, no one could hear the conversation except them and yet he was still super calm, collected (even though surely he was freaking out internally) really speaks to his character. Plenty of people probably would have gotten really irritated or even angry, especially since Pete was acting like a jerk. But instead of arguing or just telling Pete "sorry, that's not possible" Dan genuinely offered to do whatever he could to "fix" it. Even just the fact that he kept apologizing - obviously it wasn't Dan or Phil's "fault," and plenty of people would have thought, "it's not my problem they're so sensitive, they agreed to do it, why should I have to apologize?" but Dan immediately took the blame for it.

Just watch the video of Dan talking about it on a liveshow, they immediately let him know it's a prank, so he wasn't stressed about it. He said he finds it hilarious. But I still feel sad watching this.
