Dan Slott might have advised the doxxers to back off, but he's concerned about the repercussions for them, not your wellbeing D&C. Although it's tempting (for the sake of a quiet life) to try and make peace with SJWs, or compromise with them - you can't. They will destroy you anyway. They will never be satisfied because they feed on negativity and the discomfort of others. It's like a bush in the desert trying to make peace with a plague of locusts.

If you can, I'd strongly suggest going as far as possible within the confines of the law on the doxing, and not leting it go if she backs off. Making yourself a hard target instead of a soft one is the only way that helps lessen the likelihood of similar attacks by these types of people.

They really need to think about undoing OMD and letting Peter get back to his marriage with MJ already. Spider-Man has been crap for years and their original excuse of "But we wanted stories with Spider-Man as a younger hero! He feels too old when he's married!" no longer holds up. You have Miles Morales. Use him to write high school aged Spider stories. You have Gwen Stacy as Spider-Woman. Use her to write college aged Spider stories. You have Cindy Moon as Silk. Use her to write young adult Spider stories. You have Kaine as Scarlet Spider. Use him to write the adult adult Spider stories featuring a literal copy of Peter Parker running around dating a new woman every week and being a down on his luck bum with barely any money in his bank account. You have all of these other Spider themed characters running around filling the roles that Peter used to fill at various points of his life and in other media, that nothing Peter does feels unique anymore since you have other characters to now fill those roles. I mean for fuck's sake. CEO of a multi-billion dollar company that rivals Tony Stark? How is that believable, but him being married to a former fashion model and living in a comfortably middle-class New York apartment is some unbelievable thing that ages the character? Marvel's priorities with this character have been fucked for a decade.

Dan Slott formula for Spider-man villains: step 1) establish your power base right under Spider-Mans nose. It will have to be under his nose. No other geographical location will suffice. Also for flair you can have an alternate identity in Spider-mans midst for dramatic reveal later. Spidersenses don't work on alternate identities. 2) Utilize Spider-mans cutting edge tech and/or circumvent said cutting edge tech with cutting-er edge tech of their own. 3) turn said tech against Spider-man or negate it 4) reduce all super strategically one-step -always-ahead scenarios to a fisty-cuffs 5) finally if super strategical plans fail for any reason be comforted in the time tested 'slip away' escape method foiling Spider-mans definitive triumphs since saturday morning cartoons were actually cool!

Man, sorry hear about the doxing attempts, I wish you best of luck in your legal pursuit. And I would definitely recommend contacting Disney legal about Heather Antos. It's bad enough Marvel lets their employees talk to their fans the way they do, but doxing is a whole nother story. Not only can it cost you your living, but your family can get harassment and threats, and with Antifa, there is a real threat of violence. Disney needs to be aware of what their employees are doing, and they need to take a stance on it. And if they take the wrong stance, then it needs to be made very public.

Parker Industries could have been an interesting change of pace for the character, but instead the entire saga was beyond boring and nothing interesting was ever done with the CEO angle in my opinion. Plus, the arc seemed rather tonally confused, feeling more like a bizarre mix of Spider-Man, Iron Man and even Batman all in one package. Dan Slott has written some good to great stories in the past, but his well really went dry at the end of "Superior Spider-Man" ("Renew Your Vows" notwithstanding). It's past time for him to step down.

Dan Slott has been writing Spider-Man as a man child for far too long. I didn't mind the Parker Industries angle, other than it was started by Otto in Peter's body. There was nothing organic about Peter becoming a CEO, and the story-line felt forced upon the readers. This could've been the next step in evolving Peter's character, if this was done by a good writer. It's too bad that Slott still has the reigns to the ASM book.

Yes I read it, what I meant was how him having the company would change him as a man. Cause at the end of one arc, his comany was in ruins and it was questionable if he was ever going to be able to fix it. Then once secret wars was over, we just jump to his company being one of the top tech companies of the world. Doc Ock wanted the company to leave his legacy on the earth not so much to help the fellow man. Peter on the other hand actually cares about other people and could really use that company to fix the world, but never really got around to it. Some comics dance around the idea, but he never really made any major changes.

I just read it for Immonen. I will read anything he draws. But I admit his ASM run here has felt rushed. Some great pages and spreads in the run, sure, but a lot of times I feel he just went with the first draft of composition in his panels. Also about the coloring, I agree. I loved when he colored Immonen back in All-New X-men, which was more slightly advanced cell-shading, and it really worked, had great color palette that popped out but didn't overwhelm and smother the art. Gracia should tone it down some.

I liked Slott's Spider-man for the most part through Superior and I'm not even opposed to Peter owning a successful business, but I kinda dropped out of it ever since the Electro and Black Cat story a few years ago when Amazing Spider-man 2 came out.i followed the entirety of the Angers saga Bendis did so its not even that I hate long runs, but Slott's best ideas are behind him and the potentially good ones he has had recently haven't seen executed as well as they should have been. Gotta give him credit for actually trying to build on Peter and Otto in his run but he needs to learn when to finish his overarching narrative and let go.

I tried to read slotts spider and didn't like it but what really turned me against him was his terrible point1 issue of flash Thompson Venom. He got the tone and character so wrong especially considering it was supposed to be a lead into the Remender Venom book.
