Successfully describing the key points of the book chapter by chapter in and of itself is a feat, but the addition of goofy humor, suggested cast for the characters and comedic segways interspersed made this not only an educational recap, but also a genuinely fun video to watch. I've been going back and forth between just finishing Rhythm of War and reading Wind and Truth later, or finding a good recap, and your recap settled it for me. I was intimidated by the length, but that was such a good video. Lighthearted and fun, while giving a great summery. Thank you, I really enjoyed it :)

I got the feels from Raboniel giving her daughter the gift of death, not Moash doing Moash things. Imagine the pain of causing and watching your child's eternal suffering and madness. The feelings that get experienced when finally being able to give your daughter that relief would be... ALL THE FEELS. I'm still not OK about it.

That moment when you realize that, in a sense, Navani is the Vegapunk of the Stormlight Archives.

Thank you so much for this!!! I thought I could get away with watching a VERY brief summary of the Rhythm of War before jumping into book 5 and very quickly realized I needed more detail. This was super helpful!!

Daniel, Moash didnt betray *because* of Leshwi, he betrayed because he wanted to kill the king and failed so he left bridge 4 and Kal. Then Leshwi killed his crew after and then got killed by Moash, so other fused took him as a slave for being “passionate”. And then he kills the king in front of Kal during the fused invasion

This was amazing, and properly entertaining the whole way through! Super helpful too cause I struggled through this book the first read and got stuck on my second. Glad to have this 10 days out from book 5!

This was incredible. And perfectly timed for the overly optimistic reader who thought they could reread Rhythm of War but ran out of time

Can't tell you how unbelievably helpful this is! I always try to find a summary when a new stormlight book comes out and it's so hard to find one that hits all the points you need!

Thanks Daniel! I'm running out of days to relisten to the audio books. The dulcet tones of the Goblin King are much preferred to reading a summary online!

This book definitely took the most effort in reading within the stormlight archive. Admittedly the pacing was not always great, many characters were literally abandoned and a lot of science talk was. What saved this book for me however was Navani and ofc the ending. Navanis storyline coupled with the Fused was unique and interesting enough to help me get through intricate description of new fabrial designs. In the end Navani had become one of my top 3 favorite characters of the series.
