The concept of 'Learn As You Build' is a game-changer for skill acquisition. To add to that, entrepreneurs should leverage the 'feedback loop' process-implement what you learn immediately, measure the results, and iterate quickly. This approach not only solidifies your new skills but also accelerates your progress by learning from real-world applications.

As a guitar player, I was not used to using my right hand's fingers in such a way. The "AHA" moment came after 5-6 hours of practice. I had dedicated 1 hour a day for practice. Zoom out your perspective to see problems/worries as small and insignificant. Adopt a higher, more inclusive perspective. Consider your current perspective, ideal self perspective, and universe perspective to properly focus and align your actions. Connect ideas by zooming out layers to see relationships between topics at different levels of abstraction. Note important signals from your mind and build better projects from a new level of understanding. Emulate successful projects or tutorials to start building experience through trial and error. Set milestones like goals for the week, month, year to keep progressing towards your vision. Establish real-world deadlines that force you to act or risk consequences to your goals. Focus on fundamentals when starting new builds, not fancy tactics, and learn through active application of concepts. Continually experiment and turn failures into lessons to improve over time through practical experience.

@DanKoeTalks9 ай бұрын
There may be a lot of context to that question. And there's a lot more to this answer... but you have to be working on something uncomfortable that you benefit from long term. If you "zoom out" 10 years ahead and your future is bleak because what you are working on is uncomfortable and doesn't benefit you, then you "balance" that feeling by working on something else so you can get out of the other work.

I've actually felt and understood the saying "Hardest part is starting" or however it goes , I'm currently learning data science, doing projects and so on.., I fond it very hard to actually start with it, plenty of procrastination and stress and things mentioned in this video. But like 3 weeks ago, I just realized while actually doing it, hardest thing was to start, after starting, I got engaged, I don't know what it is just pushing through those 10-20 minutes of cognitive discomfort and desire for previous comfort state will go away, replaced with curiosity and desire to learn and build. But I'm so weak when it comes to that start it insane, I'ts one of my top things to fix about myself, slowly improving just... Point of my comment should be that I finally had the feeling and complete understanding that hardest thing was to start, not just hearing it countless times and it going out through my other ear. Also I used this feeling of grasping it, as fuel to start, making the barrier that much less impossible. So to anyone reading, know that the most willpower is required to start, once you push trough 15 minutes of that discomfort and doing the thing, it gets magically better.

I will transfer to law school, and intend to build my reputation in order to enter U.S. Government. With 2 youtube channels, (one has about 14k subs) dating, and writing 2 books, it can feel overwhelming. Thank you for this. An honest reminder that I am certainly on the right path. Keep going, Dan. BTW, I have read the first 2 chapters of your book. I enjoy it. However, my only critique is the lack of anecdotal evidence from historical reference to further prove your points. Check out Robert Greene for reference on how to fashion a book for the future. Or read a history textbook. It will help much with your future writing, Dan. - Your Viewer, Cesar E.
