Actually the 15 dollar price point was the same price HBO was on Prime (and i think Hulu) so in essence you get a bigger library for the same price. the UI is a little basic. Some classic adult swim, studio ghibli, TCM, DC, so yeah def worth it if you like these things.

Thanks for the great overview Dan. There is one HBO Original Movie that I have always loved, called "Something The Lord Made." It contains great performances from Alan Rickman, Mos Def and Mary Stuart Masterson, among others. I looked for it as you were scrolling around the content but didn't see it near Billy Crystal's "61*" and other HBO original movies. That being said, I also didn't see The Sopranos, The Wire, Rome, Deadwood, Entourage and lots of other stuff that I would expect to be there when I did see Game of Thrones, Watchmen, Westworld and Sex And The City. Are all of their original series on HBO Max? Arli$$, Dream On, and some of those other early series were groundbreaking. I own "Something The Lord Made" on DVD so whether it's there is inconsequential to me personally, but if it is, I wondered if you would be interested in doing a re-watch and review. It's worth your time and it might be something else you can recommend to people who are getting this streaming service. Thanks for the great content and look forward to your future programming.

This was a great review, and I really appreciate it, Dan. Also, I really hope you do a series of reviews on the Studio Ghibli movies. You're in for a treat. If I could make a suggestion, I think it might be interesting to watch them in the order they were made. Just to get the idea of where they started and ended up at. It's not necessary though, but I'm curious to see if maybe you notice any notable changes along the way.

I'm glad you brought up the Criterion Channel as a recommendation. I support that endorsement. It's a great, affordable, and insightful service. I hope you have a great time with Studio... Gibbly?... Gibbli?... I've seen two films and they were both great.
