Some of the footage looks great but I imagine the file sizes would be huge especially when editing on a phone. Will defo get one at some stage.

They aren't huge until you compile. Editing is a lower resolution version which is very fast. Once you compile, it goes to 1080

Great review thanks! I'm debating between this and the GoPro Max. Wondering which is better? Also wondering if you have it fully extended when cruising around or just part way like is there a sweet spot? Love the vids.

Not sure if you got your camera yet, but I’m about ready to get this one that he’s using. Three Biggest reasons for me are the great battery life, action cam mode that can lock the horizon, and the insta360 can capture better slow mo than the max. I also believe the app might be WAY cooler too. If you already bought the max, disregard and enjoy your new camera. They are both legitimately awesome.

@@chrisricetopher21 I haven't got a 360 cam yet! I'm still in the market for one though. Thanks for your input I'm still very interested in them. Good to know about the better slow mo on the insta. I wonder if the insta app has some cool video fx you can do like that "tiny planet" thing or the cloning of yourself. I've seen a couple fx like that they look pretty interesting. Locking horizon sounds like it would come in handy for cruising around on rollerblades. Thanks again for the info this helps with my decision.

The software edits the stick out of the image, I think it's possible as there is two lenses with an overlapping 360 degree image.
