I'm a ballet dancer (not pro, but classical repertoire company) and I only trust a handful of channels for solid ballet technique and non-ballet/cross-training fitness videos on KZbin. Until I found your channel this week, I had yet to find someone so skilled, experienced, and competent to offer the content you do. Your barre videos include beautiful technique, and your pilates mat workout videos include excruciating cardio segments. Love your channel already. P.S. I love your pants in this video, do you know how I might find a similar pair? I have some yoga harem-style pants, but they don't have those mesmerizing side cutouts! So cute.

So today, I couldn’t turn on one of your videos, Desiree...my bf was recording, and I was trying to be quiet. 😂 But girl, I did a 90 minute workout, with warmup and cool down, using my memory of your fine teaching alone! That’s some testament to your teaching right there. I heard your voice and coaching the whole time, and I feel you’d have been proud of me, had you seen it! Glutes, outer and inner thighs, back, hamstrings, obliques...! Naturally using my core strength throughout. “We’re always using our core,” as you once so cutely put it. 🤣 Thank you for the incredible lessons, girl ! 😘❤️💕💯

Regular split is pretty easy but the straddle is a different ball game. At the beginning of lockdown I was determined to achieve it. Never done before. After alot of dancer's tutorials, even physiologist and the superb Desiree, I am still no further on my straddle split journey. Is this only acheivable if you pracitice as a child? Hearts from London x

When it comes to stretching, and specifically Splits, consistency is key! The more often you stretch in general and practice your splits the sooner they will happen! You can do it! 🥰💖💪🏼

I have a little problem. That is, I really want to learn the splits and in fact I know how to do it because I've been training for it for about a couple of months so that after a warm-up I've done a 20-minute long splits stretch (And so I do splits stretches about 3-4 times a week) So I love different cardio exercises so usually the warm-up has been running, cycling or, for example, swimming. So I live in Finland and it's quite hot here in the summer, so it's quite hard to run, so I changed running to swimming. I also love swimming very much, so I swim for about 60 minutes straight every day. I know that it's too much for me because I'm still a teenager, and I noticed it because my knees hurt almost every day. I'm a very active person, and I especially like doing cardio every day, but I have no idea how often I should do split strech or run or swim or something? I've been thinking that if u can tell that how did u train to splits and how often, and how much workout can I do everyday?? Sorry much text
@DansiqueFitness2 жыл бұрын
Running is quite harsh on your knees and hips. Swimming is wonderful and joint friendly…same with Pilates! I think it’s okay to stretch everyday. The important thing is to have a good balance between strength and flexibility! 🥰💖💪🏼
