I would like to disagree with 5:13. The profs and TAs do remind us of deadlines in the form of sending emails of assignments and urge us to submit our homeworks. I am from foe btw so maybe there is a difference in culture between faculties.

I mean yes, even for us in computing. But in general, it’s still only a gentle reminder or an affirmation. You’re still expected to know your deadlines and stuff and if you have a shocked pikachu face from those reminders….. welp you gotta up your game haha

Experiment and try everything. If you find you have some interest in doing design work, go get a Udemy or skillshare course and learn from it. If you wanna do UX Design, lookup on UX Case Studies and see how UX designers think. Basically just dive into whatever interests you for that moment. You'll be bound to drop one thing for another, but there'll come a time when something stocks longer than usual.

I can’t cram too much into a single comments, but it’s typically 85/90 points (AAA/A grades) back when I entered CS. But now the competition is even tougher to enter than simply AAA/A. I heard from my junior that most juniors that entered have around perfect grades(more than AAA/A) which is just insane 😰
