I don't know if this is the first release by these guys but it's a good intro to them. Looking forward to hearing a full length album from them because this is solid doom metal. I'm only 1.5 minutes in, and I can say that the use of stereophonics here is what is missing in most modern music.. they're actually playing with left/right, rather than just using it to make it sound "full". take notes, musicians! also, if anyone can recommend music to me that utilizes stereophonics like crazy, such as the beginning of this, or black sabbath (such as Wall of Sleep) shoot em at me! it doesn't even have to be metal, but I love high energy.. no sappy shit please.

I really dig this but the vocals aren’t fitting for me. The guy can sing but I wish that effect on his voice wasn’t so prominent. Feels like the vocals are on top of the band, being separate as opposed to a band with vocals combined in a cohesive sound. Still doomy in its sublime darkness.
