Brotha,it's seems you like being naked,there's this stat in ds1 called poise,armour gives you poise and it prevents you to get staggered,but there's also the wolf ring that you maybe got in the forest,it guives you 40 poise and 50 is optimal

@@BusinessSkrub armor gave both protection and poise, honestly ds2 needed poise more than any game, at least ds3 you had smooth and fluid mobility than any soulsborne game

There are two ways to reach Blightown. one is from the depths The other way is from New Londo ruins the path from New Londo ruins is easy compared to the depths "To use the Firelink Shrine route, head to the bonfire and then head down to the left where the Fire Keeper is. Pass her and find a narrow walkway downwards. Follow it further along and you'll find an elevator, which will take you down to New Londo Ruins. We aren't staying to take in the sights, so head down a bit, past the harmless Hollows (you can kill them if you wish, you evil person) and then look out for an archway to your right. Follow the stairs up and you'll find a gate which opens with the Master Key. You'll emerge, briefly, out into the Valley of the Drakes. Head across the nearby narrow bridge and straight into the cave-like structure to find Blighttown" I am also currently playing this game for the first time. I have completed about half of it.

@Looney123 You know that huge stone dude with the shield you killed before the double statues boss fight? Before ringing the bell. Check that place. And some spoiler free tips; You have a Shield. It's a get out of jail free card. Use it more. You also need it for those huge golem knight enemies in the forest you encountered that slowed your character down like a snail, since you cant roll use the shield. You can only summon npc's when you're human. The games easier than it seems when you start to go and face the enemies head on instead of trying to be smart about it. Every boss has a cheese tactic. EVERY. Level your health more. Have fun!
