It's been 10 years and I'm still revisiting every now and then. This is by far my favorite Dark Souls series and possibly one of my favorites on youtube overall. Very atmospheric, very educational, great to compare some new school runners trying this challenge to. Absolutely love it, and hope Somethodox is doing good in life right now.

I love that you chose to do a melee only challenge. This is much more interesting to watch than using the same pyromancy every time. I am interested to see how far you can actually get. I cant believe that after countless playthroughs I have learned yet another new shortcut. No more running up the back way from blight town to get PW anymore! Everyone always praises Vegeta311 for his amazing Low Level One shot boss challenge videos. Rightfully so, as he was the inventor of this challenge and some others. That being said, I always liked this one more. The restricted use of pyromancy and magic while adding glitches such as tumblebuff and moveswap made it so much more interesting

qsqua You can parry the knight in Undead Parish who's wielding a huge mace, I think you should be able to parry a dragon's tooth; that and this is Dark Souls, where almost anything combat-wise is considered fair.

+qsqua You can parry-riposte and backstab Havel and you can parry-riposte Gwyn and thoose big black knights (Undead Parish, painted world), but you can't backstab them.

Abhishek Agarwal the easiest way to kill capra demon is to enfuse one of your weapons with fire and as soon as you went the fog gate run up the stairs to your left and the dogs will follow you up the stairs and then kill them from there after killing the dogs just play it safe and make sure to Doge the Capras to handed jump attack

Thanks man! I read somewhere that he's just busy doing other things, so hopefully he'll finish up the challenge in his own time. And fair point regarding the weapons. Basically my two clubs are +5 up to the Depths. After that I tried to get all the farming and my upgrades out the way in one go. By the end of this video I'm using a +14 Great Club and a +15 Demon's Greataxe.

My main issue was my movement speed since I was a knight and still learning the mechanics of the game... at the time I hadn't figured out that movement speed was affected by how much weight you were carrying. I ended up having to tank the mofo.
