You've had every black knight weapon drop for on on their first times dying without item drop manipulation (other then your humanity) Even if this wasn't a challenge run, you'd be set to go for the entire game with no problems

Yesterday i was close to platinum trophy, i only needed the Greataxe. I was in NG+2, Four Kings and Seath were already dead. Sitting at Firelink i realised there are 2 possible outcomes now: 1) Quickly drop down to the black knight near Vamos, get Greataxe, done. 2) Do the same like in 1, but don't get the Greataxe, go all the way down to Nito and kill him, go all the way down to Bed of Chaos and kill it, go to the Kiln and farm the guy for about 30 minutes until he finally drops that fucking Greataxe. I'm sure you can guess what happened :D

Yesterday I tried to cut her tail with a Gravelord Sword at a very low SL. No buffs, no hypermode, no pyromancies. I landed a hit on her by mistake, so I tried a second time and succeded... ...But the drake died too. Somehow, I managed to kill her with just two non-sequential hits from a simple Gravelord Sword - obtainable in, what, first 10 minutes of gameplay? I was astonished. Maybe something happened? Could've been a bug? EDIT: I've just seen the video up here in the comments. Impressive, that was me yesterday 100% - even the same weapon!

There's a little known ledge built into the cliff face that starts on the right as you're approaching the Dragon from the top of Blighttown. Amazed that I'd missed it so many times - once you see it, you can't unsee it!

That little ledge in Quelaag's bossfight brings back memories. I remember finding it on my first playthrough. Stunlocking her with a bow is exactly how I killed her as well.

This gives me more motivation to do a challenge I've been thinking up. The legend of Zelda/triforce challenge Essentially. You're rein of a build is free except you build must be one of these 3 A pyromantic knight/warrior(link and ability to use dins fire). Gift must be master key A rapier wielding sorceress(zelda) still working on what gift must be Or a great sword wielding magic user. Or alternatively a magic using great sword weilder(must use orb or fire ball magic. Can also use lightning spear miracle. This is obviously meant to be ganondorf) Essentially this does have similar things to this challenge. You can only level up once you "obtain a heart container" there will be more deciding factors on how. But for now its for every boss you kill. And every four mini bosses(mini bosses representing a piece of heart) while leveling up you can up as many stats as your currently held souls allow. But obviously one restriction is your FIEST point must ALWAYS go into vitality. and your second into whatever stat your build mains. Example great sword ganondorf would main strength so after vitality would be strength. After that you can do what you want This doesn't sound bad early game yes. But later game when the cost for leveling is high there will probably be times you O LY increase vitality

Heh! It is pretty nifty! Dead useful for anyone doing a sorcery speedrun since you don't have to waste time running away and dodging her attacks in between each cast. You can just get set up and rain down a storm of Soul Arrows.

Idk why ppl don't use the super hyper build for this. Start as sorcerer, wear the hp halfing helmet and ring, throw on sanctus and your hp is low enough that sanctus heals just as much as power within is taking, so permanent hyper mode.

Gage Wileman there are a few problems with trying that here specifically sanctus is only obtainable after killing leeroy when he invades you before the Nito boss fight (endgame) starting as sorcerer isnt sl 1 and even if you could start as sorc you wouldnt have enough int at any time to one shot the early bosses

it's actually fairly easy to dodge the spike attack from the moonlight butterfly completely, you just need to roll along the railing about half a second before he shoots it off, try to time it with the orb he forms before the attack and he'll aim into the railing every time.

Move sets and damage, demon great axe does the most damage in the game, but its moveset is ass, dragon great axe also does great damage, but its moveset is ass and it can break. Great club does relatively less damage but its moveset is actually good.

I have a question for anyone who can answer. I got the dragon torso stone in NG+, but only the damage of my punch seem to be increased. I tried with other weapons but they don't seem to do more damage, even after roaring. Does the roar increase the damage, or it just stunnes enemies???

The roar does increase weapon damage aswell as stuns enemies, it's a really short buff though. The roar buff lasts for 5 seconds and increases all melee damage for 25%. 30% if you are at rank 3.

30 for the Dragon Covenant +2 and then 10 for the Dragon King Greataxe. Keep at it, Dark Souls has a weird but unconfirmed habit/glitch of dropping loads of rare items together in a short period of time. For instance, if you ever get a Titanite Slab from the Darkwraiths keep farming cos they often drop another.

No, you can do all of that offline legit without having to kill any bosses (mimus Capper Demon) To get the hornet ring, just buys the crest of artorias or kill Andra. To get a +14 weapon, go to new londo ruins, kill Inward for the key to the seal, get the very large ember, and farm either darkwarths or crystal lizards for the chunks. To get dragon scales, just farm the drakes in the valley next to new londo. It's time consuming, but possible and pretty easy if you know what you're doing.

It's at +14. Didn't want to use a Slab on it since I'd already got a Demon's Greataxe at +15 and I fancied forging some Crystal Weapons later on in the playthrough. Beastly weapon even so!

The Bottomless Box glitch - it allows you to copy the contents of the Bottomless Box from one character to a new character. But it kind of defeats the point of the challenge if you can immediately attain all the exact gear you need. Everything needs to be earned fairly.
