The programme messes up the actual arrest timeline. Sargeant was the last of the six to be charged and not one of four. 'Reece Sargeant, 20, of Kennington, south London, was due before Camberwell Green Magistrates Court. Mr Morley, 37, of Chiswick, west London, died after he was attacked in London shortly after 3am on October 30. Sargeant also faces charges of attempted GBH on two other men, robbery, violent disorder and conspiracy to commit robbery. Five teenagers have already appeared in court accused of killing Mr Morley.'

There at the end they seem so satisfied that they did a good thing apprehending these murderers, and yes, it's a good thing they are off the streets. But until the English courts learn how to do more than just slap murderer's hands, these kinds of sentences are never going to be a deterrent, and are never going to lead to a person asking themselves as they embark on this kind of behavior "Am I making good choices?" If they knew they would spend the rest of their life in prison, maybe the brakes would go on. England needs to value life a lot more than their justice system would indicate that they do.

They didn’t out right acknowledge that it WASN’T a homophobic attack, either, they just kinda brushed it under the carpet. These youths attacked David and those others because of the happy slapping craze of the early 2000s. I was 14 back in 04, in London, I remember those days of youths doing this and filming on what we as the public used to call “camera phones”.
