@@donnaengel6413 in Australia he should voluntarily provide his DNA, so that it can legally be considered as evidence. Of course, the police have made a lot of mistakes without a doubt, but I don't think it's him. The people who owned an escort agency (a married couple with Slavic names, I think Serbian) are much more powerful and very capable of erasing someone's life as if it never existed. And she resented them, acting like they were beneath her, making her own rules. She probably served as an example to the others.

And he’s the only suspect who has scratches and a bite mark on his finger. He was the last one to see her. He had a history of violence, with other women, specifically prostitutes. Then, he was charged with raping the woman he was supposed to be caring for, threatening to kill her with a knife and stalking her, setting fire to her house and killing her. He always carried knives, according to people who knew him. He had a gambling addiction (and alcoholic) or why else would he go gambling with the only money he had, money from pawning his girlfriend’s instrument and then to spend it on a prostitute? I don’t believe for a second that he paid her. He killed her. I hope they catch him before he does it again. When they find her, I am willing to bet she won’t have that money on her. They should have done the first interview right. He never should have been free. Now, he’s committed two murders and still he walks free. Smh what a failure of the system. I’m not to the end of this doc, yet but I hope he is charged SOON.

The same reason law enforcement screws up or doesn't pursue aggressively in the US, Canada, the UK, virtually all countries in South America, etc etc. The only places with relatively few screw ups are the countries with really low crime, like the Scandinavian countries. Why don't you look at it from a different angle...How can a woman sell herself to people whom she doesn't know? The most difficult thing is how her family accepts this. She can get a proper job very easily, she is beautiful and has a creative talent, Isn't stated in your understanding of religion that. This life is full of sin and shame. Please tell your kids the importance of living with dignity, and what kind of dangers await them in life, especially the girls. Society's value judgments are decaying day by day. For some, money can buy anything, and everything, even God.

I hope Gavin reads this because my guess (from what Ive gathered reading up on this ) is he killed her because he was too drunk to do the deed if you like, and he ended up becoming violent. Shoddy police work is right. They could have easily got a DNA profile for this individual with genetic pool etc by now. Let’s finish this boys!

The supposed money the prime suspect claimed he paid Revelle was never found - neither the cash or the cheque. It's obvious he lied - he never paid her! Not hard to work out what happened. Emboldened by alcohol, with his girlfriend away he hired a prostitute for a home visit knowing he couldn't pay her. Revelle walked into that house like a lamb to the slaughter, he raped and then murdered her so she couldn't prosecute him. He had luck in successfully disposing of her body. He dumped her shoes and bag to fake an abduction by another man, and had that fake story about dropping her off in town ready when the police inevitably came knocking. It's clear he was prime suspect from the start. Why police didn't do basic detective work and forensically search his home and car, Lord only knows. Shocking incompetance!

I'm sure that if anyone saw Revelle that Sunday evening, they would have called the police. Usually when people are missing, the police are inundated with sittings that they have to then check out. If No One is calling to say that they saw her, then that's even more evidence against the man who was her last client.

So I have a question.... is it not allowed in Australia to go & get DNA secretly from a person of interest or suspect in a case? Like, many cases in the US, if there is a POI, & they need to compare a DNA sample to one they have on file, they can go & do some recon & follow the perp, wait until they discard something of DNA quality, & the police will grab it. They then have it sent to the lab, tested, & if it of course matches, they get a judge to sign a warrant, to get that persons actual DNA sample the correct way. Meaning by buccal swab or by blood. So then they not only have the old fashioned, "we got it from his discarded cigarette butt," but they also have it from the person's actual mouth or blood, through court order. I'm genuinely curious as to why that was never mentioned at all in this. Or if it is just how Australia does things. That's all. Everywhere has different rules & regulations.
