The timer in Luigi's Mansion's beta is simply a means to keep players from playing the demo too long. That's pretty much its own purpose, nothing spectacular really. That spot on the list is still deserved because the demo is uncharacteristically creepy by Mario standards, and depressed Luigi is still scary and sad at the same time.

You mean to tell me, it would erase the concept of life and death, all known universes, eradicate even those who have died or are immortal and make it as if it never existed in the first place? Now some people may correct me or scream at me saying "Oh it only destroyed four universes" or "It only destroys the universe and not the concepts" , or some people would reply back saying "It can destroy concepts of space, time, life, death etc" to which i'm fine with either way. Yes, it erases all Universes, including After-lives, immortals & places outside Multiverse, including Timelines, but not necessarily to a conceptual degree, I’m not sure if that was ever stated. Dimentio teleported the heroes out of Sammer’s Kingdom. As to how Mario & pals continuously survive Bleck hitting them with Void, well, they are probably only 4 beings in existence who should be able survive it as 4 Legendary Heroes destined to overcome Dark Prognosticus’ prophecy of the end.
