this album is the besttttt to take long drives in the summertime to and to play in the kitchen while i’m cooking. just good fucking music. even if you don’t pay attention to the lyrics they’re incredible songs to just vibe to, but when you do listen to what she’s saying she’s so vulnerable and honest. just truly an artist in every single sense of the word, and when you listen to interviews where she talks about her music you can tell she just loves making music with everything in her soul. and it comes through in the songs too. NO ONE is doing it like raye

Made it up to Osheaga festival in Montreal and The Thrill is Gone was the opening song, Raye made it half way through the track and got cut off for lighting, she was the only artist to get cut off during the festival and it was SO UPSETTING but going to see her eventually again, you are right seeing that song live is life changing 🙏🏼

Listen to the live version of this album recorded at the Royal Albert Hall. Trust me if you think this album is good....man the live version is on another level! Her record company were morons, 7 years and wouldn't let her release an album because she is a excellent songwriter and wrote for artistes like Beyonce, John Legend etc...she left the record company and is an independent artist now and is blowing up everywhere. Well deserved. She's amazing.
