I genuinely think screaming this song in your car at full volume is free therapy 💜 we all owe Billie. Heartbreaking that she had to experience so much pain so young.

fun fact: Billie has a documentary in Apple TV called Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry and there their relationship literally unfolds where her (then) boyfriend Q called her and said he was hangover and last night he drove home under the influence even though she said she didn’t want him to do that, but he never listened to her. Also, when Billie did her Coachella set and forgot some of the lyrics and felt bad, she called him and he said he can’t see her even though she needed her. Throughout the doc there were moments that are parallel with this song. Finally, there’s a part where Billie and Finneas were messing around and start writing this song. Billie never explicitly said this was about Q, but the moment I watched the doc, I knew it’s about him just by catching the parallels between what he did and the lyrics

WOW - I have watched a million reactions to this song and when you were talking about how the woman not being able to say what they want in the 60's....cont. You legit just blew my mind!! I've never thought of this video like that, and I'm sure it has different meanings, we all know her and FINNEAS do that, but I just found that as such an interesting take - loved it and ya just got a new sub!!!

One of my favs from Billie. The raw emotions are something she does SO well. Also, Kelly Clarkson’s version of this is equally amazing. Definitely listen to it on your own time. It was on repeat for me after her divorce went public. Love ya guys!

Another phenomenal reaction guys as always keep up the amazing work I love Billie espically her relationship with her brother Finneas she dedicated the song everything I wanted to her brother y’all should check that one out but if you want to listen to just her brother Finneas check out I lost a friend, or Claudia anyway happier than ever and her song your power are my favorites only because I can easily relate to them after being in abusive relationships I’ve only been in 2 but both were bad the 1st was in HS it was physical abuse, almost killed me, threatened me, and raped me his in prison and he 25yrs to go now 6yrs and a lot of therapy later I met my ex fiancée whom I didn’t have feelings for until 2 months in 1 red flag he told me he loved me only after knowing me 2 weeks but I’m to nice and let it slide only because I felt bad for him now he was a manipulator, cheater, narcissist, and emotional abuser but I was used to that it was normal considering I was seeing it happen with my parents growing up I thought it was normal then I said wait hell no it’s not and I had enough and left him after 2yrs as boyfriend girlfriend and 1 month as fiancées I’ve been happier than ever no pun intended single waiting for the right guy to find me this time then I have been looking myself and getting the wrong guy now I catch myself listening to happy songs but from to time I listen to a sad song or 2 because my soul needs it and this is definitely one of them ❤
