They have so many gems like this song that aren't on most people's radar. I think I used an Electric Mistress and RAT pedal to get kinda close to the power chord sound on guitar back in the day. I think they're an under appreciated band overall.

They still managed to get another top 40 hit, Possession Obsession off this album, then Hall had Dreamtime off a solo album and a few more hits came. Their earliest hits were from '73/'74, so overall a pretty awesome run and nice to see the Rock and Roll HOF finally gave them their due.

Today, October 7th, is a red letter day for me, for the second time. Eight years ago on this day, I found the song Changing Every Day by Culture Club, after not hearing it for 32 years. Today, this song came on the eighties station on Sirius as part of their countdown from 1987, and I was shocked! I have been looking for this song and video since 1987! I watched I Want My 80's on VH-1 Classic for years, hoping they would play it, and they never did. The difference between what happened 8 years ago and what happened today is that I didn't think the Culture Club song existed; I bought the album at my local flea market in 2016 and never thought I would hear it. On the other hand, I knew that this song and video existed because I remembered seeing it at 8 years old. I listened to the eighties station every day for the past 3 years, hoping that I would hear it again, and it finally happened today. I'm going to watch this video and listen to this song until my ears bleed and I drive myself crazy! Well, crazier. 😂
