@@shizzynwa20 odd years ago, I was sideswiped by a car towing a trailer (hooned past me on the left, swerved across and hit me with the side of his trailer). I stopped. Car behind me stopped - "I saw the whole thing" and gave me his details. Called 000 and reported a hit n run, they told me to report it at the local station. Went to Elizabeth police station. Described the scenario, met with the words "might have been your fault" and the cop walked off. I waited. "I don't think so, but I still HAVE to report a collision??" Cop RELUCTANTLY took the details. Called the witness, told him "if you were BEHIND him, you could NOT have seen a collision" and hung up. Turned to me and said "you've got no witnesses, it's your word against his". Took the card with the report number on it home and called the insurance (without identifying the other driver, I'd pay full excess and lose no clam bonus). Called police at least 10 times over the next 3 months, only to be told "call again later". Eventually I was told to call Police records section. Called them, and was told it had been CLOSED OFF as a "minor collision" with no investigation - other drivers details not available. I say a little prayer each night - that the PIG who treated me like that gets knifed in the back by a drug addict and bleeds out in a gutter somewhere.

When you're at a traffic light, watch the lights for the cross road. At the right conditions you can see when they're green and change to yellow, then red. Had a light rigid driving down Roe Hghwy northbound today with cops on full noise behind them but the cops ended up having to go around coz the pleb wasn't paying attention. The cop car's lit up like a Xmas tree, siren screaming like a Banshee, flashing their highbeams but...nope. Rigid dickhead just cruised along. In the RHL at that. I was getting off Roe onto Berkshire but looked in the wing mirror to see if he'd moved. Looked like people in the left lane backed off to let the cops in instead so they could get around. Yes the DC driver perhaps shouldn’t have also accelerated and do a small swerve block, but that was after Ute decided to challenge him. This is not recorded, but I bet this is what happened as I know the mentality of these people always wanting to get even with the world. I hope the Ute sustained costly damage - was it worth it?
