Honestly those things you stated have nothing to do with standard of living. Standing of living refers to the degree of wealth or material comfort available to a person or the community itself. @@thekarlkeeper8727 Not from Kentucky but, east Tennessee. When I was a teenager, there was a church my parents made me go to (because what kid actively wants to go to church on their own whim) where smoking was overly prevalent. It was one of those primitive Baptist churches that are normally found in very out-of-the-way places. Even though the church was overly Calvinistic and conservative, they were totally fine with cigarette usage. So much so that the church members (including the preacher) would take smoke breaks on the porch of the tiny church house before the first service, during the lunch period that is between the first and second services (because primitive Baptist churches do two different sermons in one day that the churchgoers are encouraged to attend), and after the second service. Because these types of churches also believe children should never be separated from their parents (which is why there is not a nursery or Sunday school in those churches) that also meant kids (specifically kids under the age of 10, that was when they had kids there because these churches are mostly populated by elderly people) had to be by their parents sides. This meant the kids had to be with their parents when they smoked. I am so glad I have the right of way to make decisions as to whether I want to go to church anymore, which I don't ever want to ever again.

I watched a video and it pretty much said Mississippi has been going down literally since the 1800s. Mississippi peaked during slavery times, that’s kind of sad. It’s been well over a century and no comeback from Mississippi yet.

Ohio: "Worst air pollution" Yeah I'm going to need a citation for that. The EPA designates areas as being in attainment or non-attainment for air quality standards. The state with the most non-attainment areas is California. More to the point, there are various levels, and Fresno is in "extreme" non-attainment for ozone. Cleveland is only at "moderate". Now I wonder what other stats on this list are wrong.

South Carolina isn't perfect, but it has a mild, sunny climate, the beach and mountains, and it is relatively affordable and has low property taxes.
@514-d6w6 күн бұрын
The very first one is wrong. Alabama does not have the lowest sales tax. On the contrary, the sales tax in Alabama is relatively high. Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon all have no sales tax. Makes me wonder what else is wrong in this video.

I somehow think as someone initially from New Jersey, the worst thing about that to me is their attitude, whether we’re really pissed about something we don’t like, or we’re just trying to spread some humor and we would tend to get a little overzealous.

Oklahoma’s worst thing that should’ve been listed is having the strongest tornadoes on record. I don’t know if it’s the reason for best drivers, but Kansas best thing should’ve been listed as having the best condition roadways .

Has a Mississippi native I can confirm that gas is pretty cheap around here. Depending on a holiday or where you reside at gas is usually range between 2.50 to 2.80 a gallon.

As a Floridian, my father used to work at the Department of Transportation, or, in other words, someone in charge of Pedestrian safety. And, yeah, I'd overhear phone calls all the time about pedestrian accidents- one of the reasons he transferred comapnies.

I live in Missouri, and this is true. So Louis is one of the few places in the state where you can actually drink the tapwater, because we have our own local sewer district. But then we also have the Bridgeton landfill, Coldwater Creek, and a bunch of other places that are so radioactive, they glow in the dark.

Maine having the worst standard of living is no joke. 75% of the houses i lived in had black mold, poor heating, bugs, high heat and electric costs, and if you're homeless there, good luck. Winters are brutal and no room in shelters sometimes.
