Maybe you're just looking on the wrong places or you're too hurried. Chastity has a lot of value in our religion but out of christianity they really don't care. I dont think the problem is virginity itself but the part of keeping it until marriage. At least for me, knowing if me and my posible partner are sexually compatible is important before making the relationship serious or thinking about marriage.

Men find virgins very attractive - for sex. It's admirable to wait but men don't want to wait for marriage anymore. My wife and I were in a monogamous relationship living together for several year before we got married 36 years ago. You get to know someone when you live with them. Not advocating sin but fornication is forgivable.
