The Movie And The Song Were Out When I Was Only A Year Old, But I Have 2 Sisters That Are 8 And 10 Years Older Than Me, So At A Very Young Age I Was Turned On To ALL Kinds Of Music, Dave Clark Five Was One Of The Groups. I Heard Wild Weekend Way Before Any Of My Friends Did, Many Of Them Never Heard Of The Dave Clark Five, Or Any Of The Bands I Was Listening To, Poor Slobs...LOL!!! Anyway, This Song Is My Favorite Dave Clark Five Song By Far. That's My Story And I'm Sticking To It!!!I'm Still Reelin' And A Rockin', Rockin' And A Rollin', Whooooooo, Owwwwwww, Yea!!!

@ Robin Wanless Round of applause for your 2 sisters👏👏👏👏 I saw these guys in concert back in 1964 and they were bringing the house down. Even with all of us screaming girls, they came in loud and clear! DC knew what he was doing when he brought these guys together! 🎶 💕🎶 RIP Denis,Mike,and Rick

I had some friends who said the DC5 heard the Beatles first and copied them. The truth is, the Beatles actually heard the DC5 first. The demo of "How Do You Do It" that George Martin played for the Beatles used the DC5 as the backing band while the writer of the song sang lead.
