"The Space Between" You cannot quit me so quickly There's no hope in you for me No corner you could squeeze me But I got all the time for you, love The Space Between The tears we cry Is the laughter keeps us coming back for more The Space Between The wicked lies we tell And hope to keep safe from the pain But will I hold you again? These fickle, fuddled words confuse me Like 'Will it rain today?' Waste the hours with talking, talking These twisted games we're playing We're strange allies With warring hearts What wild-eyed beast you be The Space Between The wicked lies we tell And hope to keep safe from the pain Will I hold you again? Will I hold... Look at us spinning out in The madness of a roller coaster You know you went off like a devil In a church in the middle of a crowded room All we can do, my love Is hope we don't take this ship down The Space Between Where you're smiling high Is where you'll find me if I get to go The Space Between The bullets in our firefight Is where I'll be hiding, waiting for you The rain that falls Splash in your heart Ran like sadness down the window into... The Space Between Our wicked lies Is where we hope to keep safe from pain Take my hand 'Cause we're walking out of here Oh, right out of here Love is all we need here The Space Between What's wrong and right Is where you'll find me hiding, waiting for you The Space Between Your heart and mine Is the space we'll fill with time The Space Between...

This song is special to me, it gives me both happiness and sadness... It connects me with a guy I met in Vegas many years ago, we got close as friends and kept in touch when I got back to Italy: he decided not to live anymore shortly afterward... I was shocked. When I listen to it, is to remember him and to remind him, wherever he is, that he's not forgotten and always loved... Syd ❤

I heard Dave Matthew is Canadian, can anyone confirm that for me, I'm Indigenous Canadian. I love Alanis, saw her in concert in Windsor, ON. She was tearing up trying to sing "No pressure over cappuccino." When the crown quieted I stood up and yelled, "We love you Alanis!" Made my day she said, thank you.

What would you consider to not be mediocre music? Do enlighten us with your great sage and eminent wisdom that comes from your few years of existence. Dave Matthews Band beats the living hell out of their genre, they offer such deep lyrics with exceptionally beautiful music. To insult them by calling them mediocre is just...well, stupid and perhaps even ignorant. Have you even listened to their music or do you just troll the comment boards?

That's because most people don't care what they themselves actually like. Only what they think will make them look better in the eyes of their peers. This is why Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga are so popular, yet nobody seems to know exactly WHY they are so popular.

Gosh, Dave, your music, It is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful, magic... your lyrics are so accurate. Amaze me the fact you can reach many collective stories and put them into words and melodies with such precision, without not even know any of us... reaching our souls and touching them... you articulate what for us is almost impossible to put in words... I declare myself a fan, but I believe I am more than that. Because who can see in the soul of the other, and make such a beautiful piece, deserve my unconditional love... this is how I best describe ...I love your music...ergo, I love you....
