A few just don't get it. It's really incomprehensible and the only thing I can come up with is, it has to do with whether you can "feel" or not. The few people I know who don't like him are similar, lacki.g empathy.

People that say, "I don't understand how someone can have a subjective preference that differs from mine"....... Are the most narcissistic human beings alive. You don't understand how? Allow me to explain how, not everyone has the same brain chemistry, life experiences, and nature/nurture as you. That's how. It's bad enough we are judging everyone based on their political preferences, now people like Bobby are saying people who don't like DMB lack empathy just because of a couple examples he's seen in his life. That's hilarious. This is why these divides exist. We label people that feel different feelings and have different preferences than our own. Then we do crackpot psychology on them and label them in some negative way, as if you are the tzar of all things with all the answers. By the way, I love Dave Matthews. This has nothing to do with that. It has to do with people having zero perspective outside of their own and acting like people that differ from them are somehow inadequate in some way. Dave Matthews himself would agree that internet threads like this are terrible.

Tim joining DMB is equivalent to Beethoven collaborating with Mozart… Prodigious Talent in every Man on the stage. Nobody’s been better live… ever.
@sicariusperemo3789

That is a very bold statement, although Tim is without a doubt a good addition, and very talented, he sometimes has his ways of using too many effects that clouds the pure tone, which is sad when he does that, and sometimes the solos are a little over the top, although amazing, it can give a weird and even wrong feeling to an emotional song, so it has the opposite effect of what it's supposed to have

Without Tim, there would be no DMB. Tim was the one encouraged a young Dave Matthews that he should perform on stage. And when Dave began to shine and needed other musicians, Tim new the right musicians for the band. Tim was there at the beginning and deserves a lot of credit for helping to make DMB successful.

"The Space Between" You cannot quit me so quickly There's no hope in you, for me No corner you could squeeze me? But I got all the time for you, love The space between The tears we cry Is the laughter - keeps us coming back for more The space between The wicked lies we tell In hope to keep safe from the pain But will I hold you again? These fickle, fuddled words confuse me Like 'Will it rain today?' Waste the hours with talking, talking These twisted games we're playing We're strange allies With warring hearts What a wild-eyed beast you be The space between The wicked lies we tell In hope to keep safe from the pain Will I hold you again? Will I hold... Look at us spinning out in The madness of a roller coaster You know you went off like A devil in a church In the middle of a crowded room All we can do, my love Is hope we don't take this ship down The space between Where you smile and hide Is where you'll find me if I get to go The space between The bullets in our firefight Is where I'll be hiding, waiting for you The rain that falls Splashed in your heart Ran like sadness down the window into your room The space between Our wicked lies Is where we hope to keep safe from pain Take my hand 'Cause we're walking out of here Oh, right out of here Is all we need dear The space between What's wrong and right Is where you'll find me hiding, waiting for you The space between Your heart and mind Is a space we'll fill with time The space between The tears we cry is the laughter keeps us coming back for more The space between Our wicked lies where we hope to keep safe from pain The space between The space between

Depends on your state of mind and which kind of version you're jamming out to. Studio, live entire DMB, Dave solo, or Dave and Tim. Venue and year counts as well. You'll feel the right one.

Jerry Navarrete He's on a specially strung baritone tuning, although you can always use a capo, tune down, or buy a baritone guitar. Capo location should be around 7 from standard E tuning. For the tab and chords to what he is playing tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/d/dave_matthews_band/the_space_between_ver4_tab.htm I believe he's using a pretty casual Dave strum pattern, you'll just have to listen and figure it out or come up with something like it.
@littlebeantheboss423
@littlebeantheboss423 7 жыл бұрын
Jerry Navarrete also for the strum pattern, if you didn't know, sometimes Dave will play the root of a chord followed by strumming and will often mute the strings with his left hand, although I don't think he does that second one in this song. I know for sure he does hit the root quite a few times though. Hope I could help:)
