Seven dollars a slice, holy shit. When I used to live in another town, they had a oven where they would have slices and it was actually humidified to keep it from not getting crunchy or overcooked and they were one dollar slices after 6 o’clock or something I think before that they were like two bucks, they also had 30 different types of beer on tap. Of course you could order a whole pizzas and other things like nachos, which were the best nachos I’ve ever had because they used pie pan and would layer chips and then the rest of the stuff and then another layer chips and the rest of the stuff, etc., and it was amazing . But when you’re getting off work late at night and you go have a couple beers and they got one dollar slices that are better than most places you’ll see that’s what I’m looking for. This also wasn’t a chain restaurant and this whole town only had one chain restaurant, and it was a chocolate factory, when you went to the grocery store would have a picture of the farmer and the the produce farm it came from. There was also about 0% obese people in that whole town and all the food was locally grown and raised under humane methods. They even had frozen locally made enchiladas that were better than enchiladas. I can get in my current town, which which is absurd.

I think we have a different perception of what good pizza tasted like when we were that young, but I will agree that pizza in middle school or what not was very good. But since then I’ve had actual great pizza and it doesn’t even compare, but I would buy that middle school pizza every once in a while if I could just for the nostalgia. It’s like McDonald’s, it’s a shitty burger, but it taste good but it doesn’t compare to a homemade great burger but sometimes you just want that different flavor.
