@@danielsingleton8562 Dave is looking at doing 2 more of these before the end of the year and will take the total number of attendees back down to 4. These weekends include teaching, training, assessment of weak points, programming specific to those who attend, QAs, and more. All this can range between 14-20 hours. We are not sure how the sign ups will Work. This last time we had 132 people for 12 total spots.

Is it Dave’s coaching , queuing , years of experience working with top class athletes that helps the squat , or does him shouting “ Get up “ just scare the shit out of the bar and it jumps up . As always a top video .

Could we please get a tutorial vid about geared squatting? There's videos on how to put on a suit but I have still not found a single video guide on actually properly using the gear to get the most out of it. Seeing Dave mention the tip on using a bar to press into and figure out the path to move based on that is a revolutionary thing I haven't heard of ever or seen ever, and nobody is talking about this stuff. I know equipped isn't a huge market/audience but I would greatly appreciate if that's something that could be covered. I hit a raw 585lb squat and in gear I've yet to pass 495 because I simply cannot figure out the 'groove' of this thing and nobody will explain it! :(

Got a little messy with both Sam and Daves mic being active at the same time, around 18:00 for example. Also for segments like that when Sam is off screen giving advice, it would be cool to maybe have a picture-in-picture so we can see both Dave and Sam at the same time, but that would require an additional camera, I don't know if that's worth on your end. Just a thought. Edit: Love the video btw.

Something I realized today is I have to take a wide stance squat , It is more comfortable and I can hit depth and lift more weight . You would think after 18 years of training I would know that. I have always changed my stance up and have hit prs doing both , but it finally hit me there is no need for me to be doing a close stance and not hit depth not even for bodybuilding which is what I am doing right now.

@georgemayer43213 жыл бұрын
Squat stance is different for each individual. Depends on how your hip sockets are shaped. There are several videos out there showing you how to find where the hip moves best. Squat University and Brian Carrol are two I can think of off the top of my head.
