Last year chipset which isn’t even a SD yet you pay a grand for the 128GB model.Are they mad?Tbh,no one cares about AI.Ppl need two days battery life not stupid AI.

The AI features (gimmicks) are a distraction from the battery life, thermal efficiency, and how it barely keeps up with the SD 8 Gen 1+

Real strange that the algorithm of youtube is such that this video doesn't come under any of the recommended videos for the pixel phone, even though I subscribed to the channel!

So over the 8, there is a 16GB RAM no one has use for on a phone and some nonsense AI features you will try once and never use them again, what an upgrade. I really don't understand the point of this years release.

@@lloydpbabu You know why? Because why would you bring up Iphone all of a sudden, when the conversation is about pixel having big generational upgrades... Yes its shitty from Apple, but you bringing something totally different and out of the blue is glazer behavior. What about the super zoom that was promised last year by google. Why is it now after whole year? Why didnt you call that out? It only shows that you still have Apple rent free in your head and you still fight that android vs iphone war ;)

That camera kids-animation feature is actually a decade old! Samsung had it on a compact digital camera with a front facing screen, they used a penguin dancing I think.

1:04 lol why does the Bezels look slimmer on the last year phone
@samuelwalker36882 ай бұрын
The pixel 9 is black and the bezels blend in with the chassis and the pixel 8 is white and the sides blend in with the background. The bezels are otherwise the same size

Pixel 9 is just a stand-in while they create the Pixel 10/Tensor G5 (since it won't be Samsung anymore). It is sorta like Pixel 5 being stand-in for Pixel 6 (but with somewhat more effort).

1:54 its not "camera hump", its "camera bump" hehe
@hasanak48962 ай бұрын
No camera bump is when a phone rocks on a table when being used naked. A camera hump is when the camera is uniform enough to the rest of the design to where the phone does not rock on a table when being used naked.

Hqving watched the keynote, this was pretty much a summary of what thye presented and talked about (with less focus on Gemini). I had my eyes on the pixel 9 pro, but its gonna release later in the fall apparnelty and im kinda considering to wait a little more now. Perhaps snatch it in April next year (hopefully it goes on sale by then)

I was so hyped in buying pixel 9 fold since kinda got hooked on fold devices since I bought used Galaxy fold 3 to try It out, but watching first part of your video about pixel 9 hardware got me a bit disappointed but then second part about pixel software, got me hooked up again... What I really like about Pixel device presentations, or software updates is that they are try to, or at least are demoing their software as problem solving and making your everyday use of a phone much better and easier and not just "this is how powerful our device is"

So a cpu that is 20% better than the last one with lots of new ai features and 16gb ram a way better selfie and main camera a better battery a new design and a better display is a small hardware update but when apple changes to usb type c and makes a update where u can put ur apps where u want is a big hardware upgrade?

This will be a massive success regardless because Google is finally bringing these phones to Northern Europe. The preorders are already on red so it has sold out in most places. The largest operator that works in Sweden, Finland and Norway is now saying you have to wait till mid-September to get yours if you order now

I think we're underestimating how much of an upgrade the new fingerprint scanner is. Its the single best upgrade the 9 got imo.
