David Cassidy tries to sing 'Sing Me' at his concert at Hamersmith Apollo on 16.11.08. The fans had been asked to nominate their favourite 'unsung' song and this was a clear winner - David laughingly attempts the song with quite a bit of help from his audience. Happy days. Happy David.

My favorite blue eyed soul song of all time. David sang it to perfection back in the day. So nice to hear so many people could sing it from memory. I loved Tony Romeo’s lyrics. Thousands could relate to the story sung in this divine song.

Omg! How do I possibly thank you enough for posting this performance of Sing Me! It is one of my very favorite David songs and I can't believe what I just witnessed! He is brilliant! How did he ever manage to bring it back into his memory enough to teach his band and have it sung so beautifully! Oh my heart!

@@waltraudpfaar3821 David came back to see me after the show which was nice, we had a laugh about the water bottle and he signed my folder. And I saw him a few more times afterwards. Agree that he went far too soon - hard to believe that it's nearly 3 years.

I can imagine that he was really a great person to be with, if he started to trust somebody, which he obviously did. What lovely and very precious memories you must have ! But I can imagine, it hurts even more to have lost him so young, if you had the very rare chance to actually meet him and talk to this wonderful man in person. I didn't realise, it's going to be 3 years this november, already. It seems to be so fresh to me, almost as if the tragedy had only just happened. Stay healthy, Wendy, and keep posting such lovely videos ! Lol.
