I am so glad I got to see him before he died. He was at his best when I saw him. It was in Kansas City in 2004 and in 2003 in Minnesota. It was so sad to see him get into his old habits again. I just wish he got acclaim for his songwriting and when he wrote it was rock and roll not pop.
