@jean-pierre5221 idk, Jesus taught us with His own example.when he addressed the Pharisees and others that were within the religious spheres. His choice of words back in those days was rather harsh for the languages spoken then. Sam is simply applying the same principle in modern English. As for agreeing, there's not much room to agree or.disagree when Sam literally backs everything he states with Holy Scripture and them some.more, be it early Church or other hard evidence. So one may have "issues' with HOW Sam relays something, but he doesn't leave any room for issues with WHAT he relays. May God bless him.

@@jean-pierre5221 Perhaps you are right but I can also say that nobody has made as many converts as Sam has - so he must be doing something right. Jesus spoke about leaving the 99 just to find one lost sheep and I think the passion in that is fierce with Sam. He wants to save you so much that he is even willing to get down in the mud and get dirty if that's what it takes. I know it's not proper etiquette but you cannot say that it doesn't procure results. Also Sam has really come a long way in controlling his temper compared to when he first started.

The difference is the Pharisees' rejection of Jesus was a rejection of salvation and they were hypocrites, so he called them vipers, snakes, blind and fools. Those names Jesus called them makes sense. Many of the arguments Sam has within the Christian circle is not even a salvation issue. But my main contention is with Sam cussing other Christians or people in general, saying things like "your mother is a wh***" and generally insulting like he's of this world. I agree Sam is very knowledgeable, but I'm not arguing about his knowledge, I'm talking about his character. No Christian should be using sexual insults.

I've been in the EU, former eastern EU which was under the former Ottoman Empire and the cussing culture is one that no westerner would approve of,.likewise when I was in Kuwait and Iraq with one short trip to Turkey, again the cussing culture is different, one that most westerners wouldn't understand nor approve of. One does not have to agree.with, but understand the differences. Not ideal, but the results are there, those seeking salvation accept Christ, those seeking toock God get out into their satanic hell, as Sam's words shall eat away at them until they repent or until they meet our Maker. As a former grunt, I appreciate Sams approach, especially towards those who do not want to learn, and even more so towards those who come to deny The Word, be it in the name.of.false.doctrines or false religions, both are of satan, the enemy. I believe Catholics should reconsider engaging in apologetics, given that the "Vicar of Christ," who is considered infallible, has stated that all religions lead to God and that Christ is not the only path to salvation. Additionally, he has made contradictory statements about blessing certain sins, depending on the location. If we can't work our disputes out amongst ourselves as Christians then one side or the other or both have failed. Under the righteousness of Christ we are servants while under self righteousness we are self serving. Jesus warned us not to turn and beat our brethren and that is exactly what we do our goal is to win the dispute against our brethren, we beat them. One of the most wicked and vile things we can say to our brother is say to him "you loser" it's the same as saying to him "you fool". Seeking to prevail against your brother treats him as an enemy not a brother and that is not the love of God.

Not easy to explain, but basically Sam went from being a Calvinist to being more Orthodox/Catholic. When he was a Calvinist he often worked with these guys. And since changing his position there have been many, uh, theological points of disagreement let's say, that have been openly discussed ad nauseum on KZbin between them. And, as you probably know, Sam has a certain way of debating with people that can seem very rude. So that's basically it in a nutshell.
