This absolutely brilliant stuff. 20:41 So simple. NO wonder the Beatles were such a phenomenon with opening lyrics like "Because the world is round it turns me on." And isn't this true of everyone. 21:01 That question. "You don't have any simple beliefs?" I think explains a lot. Perhaps people don't have conscious beliefs, or are not so ready to share them. Anyway...active listening is required at all times in his videos. Listen to what happens here at 23:57 " Simply being here [AWARENESS], [TRUE Cause] allows you to begin to understand [Effect LEAD] that using cause and effect belief systems or belief language automatically [ADVERB] makes you a more powerful presenter BECAUSE you can instantly [ADVERB] change the way you speak to naturally [ADVERB] match someone's internal environment." Boom.

I'm trying to learn how to stop chameoloning to other people's desires unconsciously and start using that skill intentionally. But I find that all my life when I meet new people I do a lot of your process unconsciously. I'll scan them almost immediately to pickup on their desires and wants from me and then ill adapt to it without question. This skill is useful when I need to get out of trouble, but since I always do it unthinkingly, I tend to go along with things I don't really want to do just because my people pleaser inside wants to please them. I want to discover my identity more so I can stop adapting to others so often and only adapt to my environment in situations where I want to influence the outcome. Or just I wish I could make my people pleaser stop wanting to please people I don't really want to be friends/romantic with. She just desires outside validation and wants everyone to like her but I'm tired of it. (I'm doing Internal family systems therapy to solve early childhood trauma which is why I refer to the part of me that is responsible for people pleasing as someone outside of myself.)

I think, if your sentence contains (cause) + (effect).. the other person receives it as a belief. e.g. "You being here means you have what it takes to be successful".. I think in the people who receive the message, it registers as a belief even though the sentence doesn't even make sense. However, if someone questions this statement, they have to do mental gymnastics to figure out what the speaker meant (or try to make sense of it). So, if he says it mid-sentence (and/or subtly) they won't stop to question it, so he can plant beliefs in their minds. But I'm not too sure myself and I could be wrong.
