Beautiful bowl, but I think that piece of wood wasn't done justice by taking so much of it away. It was a really nice piece and very unique.

I agree; it hurt to see the piece trimmed down.

Love your bowl. It truly is a masterpiece. To answer the question you asked about the filming change you made from sped projects to edit clips of you turning your pieces in real-time: I'm partial to this new method, myself. Having the piece come to life in front of you at regular speed (albeit in far more cut down segments) is more satisfying. Paired with the fact that you explain and narrate your method, the normal rate of speed is a better option. To the viewer, it feels more like your talking us through your methods as we are standing beside you, assistance/accompanying you as you teach. Keep up the beautiful work!

i really love the combination of clear resin and wood. there’s just something about it. like branches growing through stained glass window. i think it would look really cool totally clear too without the green. but i hear that is tough to make look perfect. real time clips have my vote, i like to hear and see things the same way the artist does. love all the different angles too 👍
@DavidsWoodturning2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much 🙂 Yes clear resin show the most imperfections so have to be careful with that. I keep telling myself to make clear project but always end up with some dye / pigments
