Hi Sidney, Quick question what you went with correctors? I mean what is the difference between using correctors and parallel nodes?
@sidneybakergreen5 жыл бұрын
Corrector nodes is a node for standard corrections. A parallel node is a corrector node but think of it as another layer on top of your correction in Photoshop
@sidneybakergreen5 жыл бұрын
I probably should make a video on it but for example if I was to do my skin qualification in a correct or note but then I want to change something else and that node it would mess up my qualification whereas if I use the parallel mode it wouldn't mess up my qualification

Sidney hello. You taught about coloring one still image. How about a full edited video which has so many clips. Please answer. Thanks.
@sidneybakergreen5 жыл бұрын
Same techniques apply. There is no hack to edit a full video, each clip is gonna take time, and patience. And it was not a still image, it was a video clip. You should always select a frame you want to grade.

Here’s a cool tip! To help reduce some of that noise without using the “denoise” function try increasing your saturation minimum to 0.3~0.6 (play with the values depending on the shot) it’ll help prevent some of that nasty glow you get in some occasions too Edit; don’t know how the alpha pass through for skin tones worked for you without inverting your key. Never works like that for me :(
@sidneybakergreen5 жыл бұрын
I use the deboise to get a more natural look when keying out the skin tones. The saturation won't solve the keyed noise unfortunately. At least in my experience. Also, patience.
@sidneybakergreen5 жыл бұрын
Wait which saturation feature though? Because I did increase the saturation to. 68 🤔
@shadi58855 жыл бұрын
Ahhh I’m not talking about the basic correction saturation, I’m talking about your second node for the skin tone qualifier. The saturation level of 0.0~0.2 introduces a lot of “un-true” qualified colors due to the saturation requirement being 0 (accept 0 of this color plz davinci) basically it’ll clean up your qualifier tab by simply increasing the minimum threshold requirement in the saturation tab. Luminance doesn’t affect qualifiers as much as saturation does in terms of introducing noise. Hope this made more sense
