I am TOO HEAVY For ZIPLINE In Ella, Little Adam's Peak, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

This morning my goal was to visit Little Adam's pick for the views and I ended up getting amused with 550 meters Zipline in Ella. It was fun, and here is how it went.

A very special place you are in. Ella is said to be one of the main cities of the ancient emperor Ravana. Legend has it that Ravana loved nature so much that he built his palaces and fortresses underground without disturbing the environment on top. You just might be walking on top of a palace which has been lost to time. This is all legend and is why you would not hear from the conventional history of this land which starts around 2500 years back. Ravana's time was probably over 5000 years or even more. For whatever reasons the archeological authorities do not seem to be interested in seriously investigating this ancient history. Probably because of the conflicting historical data that might cause too much of a culture shock and question the recorded history. Or maybe it's all just myth and legend. Believe what you will but you can't argue that this place has a very special vibe. You just might be drawn to this land due to a deeper connection than you are yet to realize. Cheers Davud! Ps. Suggest you also visit the Stargate in Ranmasu Uyana in Anuradhapura, towards the north of the country and Wariyapola in Kurunegala which is said to be Ravana's airport for his solar powered aircrafts. Lot's more to see here when you start down this journey. Enjoy.
