I take Mire Triton over Malevolent Rumble. I prefer my mill to come from creatures and the MT made a good sac target for Dread Return. Creature count for Lotleth Giant triggers is also an important concern. As for speed, I did also want to mention I've liked my testing of Dark Ritual. It makes for a T1 Troll of Khazad-dûm or Generous Ent, and can make it easier to cast Lotleth Giant if necessary. I'm not sure if Dark Ritual is a stay yet, though, since it can be a dead card.

In the first game I think you missed a line of exhume a troll then use the troll to dread return a troll. But I don't think it was enough damage anyway 4:49

I very much prefer Mire Triton over Circle of the Land Druid. A 2/1 deathtoucher is so much more useful than a measly 1/1. On the red-splash: Faithless Looting and Demand Answers are very tempting. Especially when you might be able to squeeze Sneaky Snacker in somewhere to fuel Dread Return. Its not easy. The list is very tight as is.
