@@ryanoti99982 Thanks for searching, but I already listened to that one. I believe Jonah said "he had me on HIS podcast", meaning Eli Lake's podcast. I just skimmed that 12/4/2024 podcast again and I didn't find much about Wilson. Maybe Eli Lake's podcast episode with Jonah didn't release yet? Who knows the chronology and scheduling of these things.

why does Wilson get such a bad rap among conservatives for progressiveness when Teddy Roosevelt just prior was also a progressive. Sure, Wilson went farther than TR, but that's only cause Wilson had TR's progressive policies to build off of. And yes, Wilson is obviously worse cause of his racism, but that is tangential when the main critique of WIlson is a critique of his progressiveism. Is it just the optics of TR being a manly man while Wilson is the frail academic? Or are there actually big policy disagreements Wilson and TR. A simple example: you can blame Wilson all you want as the original sin of the FDR new deal, but TR's square deal proposal was prior to Wilson and influenced FDR more than Wilson did.

Learn the difference between Intellectualism and Indoctrination. I'm Not sure there is one. Taking care of your home is not Nativism, I doubt the indoctrination you are a victim of will allow you to understand that concept.

If intellectualism was the be-all-and-end all then the USA wouldn't be the richest country in the world with the most upwardly mobile society
