The forest before the leaves come back, bathed in sunlight from a low angle might just be the most beautiful time of year to be in the woods. Georgious footage

Cool, your dad and I were both born on March 5th! 😎 🎉 🙌🏽 I did that section last year and remember Cheoah Bald being one of the toughest climbs of that section from Amicalola to Hot Springs!! Well done...

I'm loving your videos as I enjoy my morning coffee. I'll be headed onto the trail in 2 1/2 weeks - so its nice to see what I'll be looking forward to. Way to hit the highlights of each day, with showing a little of what daily trail life is like, while keeping it all in a presentable format and time frame.

@John572d43 жыл бұрын
1=9/5 C or 1 degree Celsius= 1.8 F, F is more accurate, a Celsius reading can cover as many as two degrees Fahrenheit.

@@John572d4 correct, but on the fly, you can quickly get close. 2 degrees will not make a difference in the situation in the video.

Thanks for another great video Taylor. So awesome the shout out to the trail workers. We owe them all so much. Great mileage day, especially with the elevation. Glad the new jet boil worked out. Did you put the old one in a hiker box? Thanks for bringing us along today. I hope tomorrows miles are kind. Keep truckin’ and be well. -Grateful

Taylor is just awesome and an inspiration. It feels cool to be one of her fans and even though her views and subs are growing its cool to be part of this special niche section of KZbin that so many are still missing out on. I can't help but point my friends in Taylors direction and hope that they get wrapped up in her charismatic journey that we've all come to love ❤

Hi, the Natahala section is tough. What I learned was that the AT was made before they invented “switchbacks” ! Up one side of the mountain and straight down the other side. It’s no fun when it’s raining, but you have great weather. With you and watching every day. I wish you would eat healthier.
@4potslite1693 жыл бұрын
That climb is truly a toe stepper...never thought I’d make it to the bald...if I remember correctly I barely got the tent set up before I crawled in and went to bed. Slept a couple hrs and THEN got up and made dinner at dusk and went right back to sleep for another 12 hrs LOL!

Hey Nick, I was thinking the same thing while beginning to watch this video. I'd been a fan of Nahamsha's vlog last year. Her decision in stopping the 2020 thru-hike (like most other thru-hikers did) was the most responsible thing to do at the time. But now she's back! Woohoo! 💪👊👍👏

Have family in Nahamsha, reside in western Ma. but RV full-time with my dog & cat, in Georgia volunteering at a state park now. Hope to complete the AT in a couple yrs. with my dog, Gracie. Starting to gain precious daylight day by day now, the aurora begins around 5:30(am). Yes early March has produced near record sunlight in the northeast & dry, brush fire advisories, could put the squelch on some of the trail water sources. A middling wet or unsettled system expected next week.

Sunscreen is not an option for British Isles/northern European. My last name is a result of my Prussian grandfather adopting a name that was more familiar to Americans when he came from eastern Europe. Ukrainian on his wife's side, and English and Irish from the other grandparents. A "tan" for me is when my freckles get numerous enough to touch each other. We didn't choose our genetics: we just treat them. 😊
