The pigeon pose section released a lot of unnoticed tension in my hip joints. I did the micheal Jackson knee kick with ease at work a few times today. I’m noticing more energy than I’ve ever experienced since I began my practice. I’m almost two years in. Also the need for a huge breakfast is gone. I used to eat bacon and eggs everyday now it’s prana and smoothies. Life is Great!

I just wanted to share something that happened during this practice. One of my Great Pyrenees named Shaman always lies right next to the mat, usually with a paw on the mat or on me. Today towards the end when we were doing the deep breathing, he started breathing audibly with me and we were synchronized for a bit. I really felt him sharing his spirit with mine. I love that Adrienne has Benji there. That sweet canine energy is so special.

I often feel like I have to save the “snuggle” practices for night time. Like I have to wait until later when I’ve “deserved” it. It was nice to start the day with a practice like this for once. I hope it’ll remind me that I don’t have to deserve self compassion

Thank you Adriene!! I have been following Yoga with Adrienne since 2011! At age 64, a diagnosis of cancer (leiomyosarcoma), major pelvic surgery and radiation prevented me from attending my usual yoga classes for several weeks - which is when I found Adrienne. Since then I have had three metastases - lung, rib, and now both lungs again - more surgery and more radiation (5” of 11th rib removed) and have continued to follow and NEED Adrienne, even when I did return to local classes. I not only follow her 30 day journeys but choose many others in between as needed. My doctors feel that yoga has helped my mind and body stay strong. Without Adriene I would not have continued my yoga practices. Now I am 75, and as todays mantra states…. I am strong. Again, thank you Adriene!

Honestly, I was a bit worried about this one. Today I wanted to get in my 4 mile run and then yoga. I've been fine with my short runs and yoga, but it is a struggle to do both in the morning. With Tuesday's being a difficult day for me (run, yoga, work, cooking dinner for the fam), it's either I knock everything out starting at 5:30 am or it's not going to happen. I ran my four miles got setup to do Adriene's yoga practice and kept my fingers crossed: Let's just say that I was really happy to see that today's title was "Snuggle." It was just what I needed! thank you, Adriene.

Hip opening practices like the pigeon's pose tend to surface any traumas/stress we have stored in our body, it can make a lot of people cry it out. It's no wonder it touched you, especially coupled with this soothing practice. Yoga is incredible!

You put into worlds what I couldn't. My son is 15 months old and I feel the exact same way about my body. It's hard to not think about my pre-pregnancy self, but I know that this is the new me. Our bodies birthed a baby, and it's new because of that; we won't ever go back to our exact old selves. Thank you for your perspective, it helps me feel more acceptance toward this new, powerful body. ❤️

@@kel1996x it's right to accept yourself, to be loving with yourself and be patient... but why think that you have to accept that your body will never be the same?... it can be even better!☺️ Don't put limits... be patient and consistent... Movement is surely not a "sacrifice", it's a lovely lovely thing that we can do for our body and mind well being (and implicitely for those around us)

Adriene, how did you know exactly what I needed today?!! I did some warming up movement before I put on the video, and I was wanting some good hamstring stretching so I thought of pigeon pose. It felt great! And I thought to myself "I bet Adriene will have this pose in today's practice" .... and you did! Fantastic! This was such a such a lovely class, with awesome stretching. This helped me o much this morning! Tomorrow I am having my driving test and I don't really feel confident, sometimes i really don"t trust in my capacities because I wasn't easy to learn... but today I realised that I still have a chance to get it right if I give myself enough love and trust... i know deep down that I can do this thing, the hardest part is convincing myself everyday despite the little fear inside. I hear you about the difficulty in loving and trusting yourself. If possible, try to think less about the rules in driving and focus more on the sensations of you coasting along the roads and enjoying your capability of being in the driver's seat and manoeuvering the vehicle at your will. I recently got my license and this mindset really helped me during my classes and exam. You got this! You are tougher, braver and more capable than you think! Wishing you the very best for tomorrow, and for all the following rides of your life :)

Day 17. We did it! A truly loving practice. I feel that sometimes that time alone with oneself is really needed. As one goes through their day, a lot of emotion can build up whether that’s in the body or in the mind and this time is a loving way to recognise the emotions perhaps and allow that time to just…be. This practice was much needed, we have been battling with the virus here and I was feeling quite unwell before I started, took some medication and came the mat. Still laying down as we speak! But getting there. Thank you all for sharing this practice with me here today. Shouting a huge well done to all of us for showing up today 😊♥️

‘Perfect’ practice for today after an almost 50cm (yes I speak metric here in Canada) snowfall yesterday. Feeling snuggly even in pigeon pose. Thank you Adriene for offering just what I need. Namaste.

Truly needed a snuggle day with this Full Moon in Cancer. Letting the waves of the breath match the waves of my heart. Filling up with Self Love and Self Care today - however that may look. I started this 30 day journey quite depressed and this has really really made me feel so much better. Yesterday I felt this sensation in my stomach, butterfly like, and I thought: what is this? Then I realized I felt happy and content :) This practice helped me find myself immensely, looking forward to the last half!

Dear Adriene, You have been like the warmest and most comforting friend throughout my yoga journey. I first discovered yoga when I was 20 years old, and though life took me away from it at times, I always found my way back to you. Every single time I chose to unroll my mat, it was your guidance that brought me back home to myself. In just a few days, I’ll turn 30, and so much has changed. I’m now a mother to a beautiful little girl, and I’ve decided to celebrate this new chapter by revisiting all of your yoga challenges. It feels like reconnecting with an old friend, and through it, I’m starting to rediscover the parts of me that felt distant after becoming a mom. Thank you for your presence, your kindness, and for creating a space that feels like home no matter where I am in life. You’ve helped me feel grounded, strong, and whole again. Thinking back to last year's Breath, I wasn't in such a great place. I was exercising for the wrong reasons. Now, I feel like I move to feel happy, and because I want to. I'm moving towards unconditional self love, and I'll be focusing on mental health in 2022. Thank you to everyone practicing for being here. And thank you, Adriene and Benji, for being here too! This day just told me how I need to get my hips checked. Lots of clunking sounds. So, I didn't do much of the hip exercises as I was a bit nervous. But, good to know. Thanks for another great Day Adriene 🤍

So exciting to be practicing alongside people from all over the world! ❤️ After these two weeks of yoga every day I notice that I start craving it. The past few days I've been able to follow the premiere (at 11am where I am) and in the afternoon and evening I'm itching for the next video. 😂

What a beautiful practice. I rejoined MOVE today after not being able to do yoga for some days because of covid. It was a great start to remind me again how good it feels to reconnect with my (healthy) body and take this time for moving, especially in isolation.
