During triangle pose I was able to actually reach down and put my fingertips on the ground and hold the pose for three breath cycles. On both sides.I have not been able to do that before. Woo! Progress :) Thanks for being with us 💛🙏

Today I thought that I had stumbled in an advanced yoga class and I muddled my way through as best I could. Some tips that I have learned along the way: 1. I cannot move as fast as Adriene from one pose to the next. When I try that, it hurts. 2. Move at my own pace (again to not get hurt). Often I’m getting into a position and she’s already moved on to something else. That’s okay. Go at my pace. 3. This is not a competition. I’m learning something I’ve never done before.

@David Thompson just did this three days ago and love it!! Hopefully Adrienne will see these comments and understand that many are new to the practice. Personally I'm Kundalini yoga teacher trained which means absolutely nothing because I too have found difficulty in keeping up and I'm sure that although a lot of people haven't said anything about it cuz they love her so much I bet that people wish she would slow it down so that we can deepen our practice an our presents/presence.

Yo, Adrienne we love you but please be mindful that many people do not like trying to keep up. More injuries occur at the speed you are presenting most of this series thus far? Becoming aware of the breath is way easier when you're not huffing and puffing through postures to keep up with the teacher? So Sincerely, Betina. 😘

Can't believe how strong I've become in just 19 days. I feel like I've found a deeper connection to my core, my feet. I understand now how it feels to really ground through the legs, spiral the heart up. Things that used to be just words now are things I can actually feel and adapt in my practice. Truly a pleasure to be here. I've been struggling with anxiety this month due to uni admissions, but yoga has been a grounding force and my mat a place to let everything go, even for just twenty minutes. Thank you Adriene for creating this safe and nurturing space to come back to every day

I am a fourteen-year-old boy who plays many sports. My muscles and tendons have always been so tight hindering my athletic performance, I just want to say how much Adriene has helped me, and from now on I will always go yoga.

Struggled to come to the mat today with terrible period pains. But I showed up! I had to go back to child's pose when the movements were too much for my body, but that felt like exploring in a way I don't very often - exploring how it feels to modify, to carve my own practice for my body today.

Well done! I think the most important think Adriene has taught me is that it’s ok (in fact encouraged) to make modifications as and when you need them. Modification allows you to keep going, and that’s so much more important than getting everything right, or even getting everything done.

Today has been a rough one for me. The anxiety is loud this morning and I love that what is getting me through it is knowing that we'll be live in less than an hour. This practice is everything to me. It is literally my foundation for grounding. A space I can land on and grow from. I am a little weirded out by it. The fact that I am not a jumbled ball of nerves. Instead I am choosing to hold my head high despite feeling like I'm going to implode. I am looking forward to exploring this more with today's perfectly picked theme. Thank you Adriene. I will forever be grateful to you and your team for showing me how to accept myself so deeply. For giving me a way to find peace in the middle of a hurricane. I found myself very emotional with this practice. 4 years in a row I’ve told myself I would start a 30 day yoga challenge and I never got past day 5-7. Now I just finished day 19 and I couldn’t be happier with myself and everyone else doing this challenge. The hardest part is always showing up to the mat.

Thank you Adriane, for yet another amazing journey. It's been 28 days after my breast cancer surgery and I feel amazing mentally and physically. Mine is looking good, woke up today in a good mood, and just before doing this practice i felt motivated enough to do an abs workout! Honestly im surprised to learn, for my first time it didnt felt that bad. I think its because i've been doing yoga this month and doing morning workouts at home. I feel like i've come a long way, and made so much progress. I feel so amazing these days, that i've almost forgotten my un-healthy habits! Woah. Usually, during the days where the practice is 'hard' and quick-paced, I have trouble keeping up. I have to frequently pause the video, or rewind it a bit. Sometimes I find that Adriene already went through two poses and I'm still transitioning to one 😂😂 My hands are sweaty, too, and I often have to pause to wipe them dry. Often, it makes me feel frustrated. BUT TODAY, WOAH! I'm having a mild fever today and stomach pain, yet I went through the whole practice without pausing or rewinding. I was able to stay through the extended side angles aka the 'hard, foundational poses.' 😉 It was amazing-- at some points I was like, "Woah, I did THAT?" Really found room for exploration today, indeed! 😊 I can't believe just 19 days or practice has already done so much. Sending love and power to those practicing, today! Namaste ❤

Almost one year ago, after the first 30 day journey we did with Adrienne, we were in a state of reflective turmoil. One of us had lost our job due to downsizing and we decided to start investing in ourselves by rekindling old passions and hobbies. From there, we decided to start a youtube channel to share videos we were creating for our anxious son to calm him and to use as sleep aids. We found a passion and a community and began finding ourselves smiling much more often. Today, our channel hit 10K subs and we cannot believe it. This confidence, this drive to push ourselves, came from a simple choice to try after doing 30 straight days of yoga with you! We are so grateful and love the self-assurance and inner peace yoga and meditation has brought to our lives. Life is too short not to explore your potential and your passions. I woke up early this morning so tired, just wanting to sleep in. I had a tension headache and my lower back was feeling achey. And I was mentally and physically relieved to be completing today's session, as it helped me feel so much better! In fact I wanted more, so I followed day 19 with one of your videos on stretching our neck, shoulders, and upper back. Now I feel ready to take on the day!

Day 19. ‘Oh! Hello there!’ 😂 It’s truly amazing how a little can go such a long way. I came down to the mat feeling a little less energised, left the mat with this sudden urge to do something meaningful for myself, so I drank some tea. Yoga has opened so many doors to myself that I hadn’t seen opened before, offering such a different perspective to not only life but also how I carry myself through each day. I think, it’s very true, the notion of ‘how you move matters’ because for me the exploration assisted in seeing what would potentially really help me a bit today, that being a nice cup of tea. Enabling that sense of gratefulness for myself and those around me today. Thank you all and Adriene for guiding us. We’re awesome!See you all tomorrow ♥️

I woke up with a nasty migraine this morning and had to stay in a dark room most the day, but once it passed I was determined to not miss a day and I got on the mat. My practice was a reminder to keep looking after myself and to treat my body with respect and appreciation. My sister has been talking about this channel for a long time. I work out almost everyday and my body responds so well to yoga but I just rarely made time for it. The last 3 weeks I have done one of your videos 9 times and I have really enjoyed each one. I love that they're short but so effective, much easier to fit into my day and I look forward to doing it. Definitely subscribed and ready for more!

This exploration of self is what really brought me to yoga, and unknowingly YOU and all the other beautiful souls practicing around the world. What a treat to explore the mind, body, breath, and SELF in such a deeply personal way at home, but also knowing I am among others in their own deeply unique and profound experiences. I am feeling the LOVE! 💕✨🏵💗

@@adriennefong551 yes! For some reason, I felt a stronger “greater” connection in today’s practice than others. Perhaps it is because this theme of exploration is so meaningful to me, and I can’t imagine how it feels / what it means for others as well!

If I can get a little bit personal, this morning I had a frenectomy-basically a procedure in my mouth to remove something doing more harm than good for me. I'm really sensitive to dentistry work but the breath practice I get on the mat really helped me in the dentist chair today stay calm. I loved coming to practice with the permission to show up today imperfectly with the invitation to explore, knowing that with a healing mouth I can show up as best I can. If you too are reading this comment after just practicing, I'm so honored to practice with you and I hope our paths cross again in the comment section tomorrow.

I was feeling so uncomfortable all week! I've been saving all of your video's. Today was the first day I finally did it! You're amazing and I feel so much better! 💛 I promise myself I will try each day.

I’ve been doing this journey mostly in the evenings but this morning it felt like my soul was asking my body to move and be present with my breath and I’m so glad I listened. Now I feel grounded and ready for a busy day of uni. Also feeling immense gratitude for this community, for my body, and for Adriene and everything she does for us 💜 Can’t believe tomorrow is Day 20! Let’s finish this everyone.

I don’t know if anyone will ever see this comment, but I just completed this practice hours after the Supreme Court overruled Roe v Wade today. I live in Texas and had an overwhelming sense of hopelessness this morning. But after this video….WOW! I feel STRONG! I feel ready to take on this day and all the wild emotions that comes with it. I feel ready to FIGHT (with love). Sending every bit of strength I have to anyone reading this is who is feeling the same way I am. You’re not alone. Thanks, Adriene! ❤

The Universe has its way. I usually do YWA in the morning, but today was jam packed with Pilates, covid test, RMT and chiropractor for my sciatica. After I got home, I thought it was a perfect time before dinner, so I did this beautiful practice with the sunset. I'm so happy I can feel my progress from the ailment and I truly enjoy this fruitful session. Thank you!

So proud of myself for making the time to come here despite all my current circumstances. It has been a really hectic week and I have been processing a lot of emotions but coming *back* to my practice through this challenge, coming *back* to my mat, and coming *back* to this community feels like home ❤ I love you all and I'm proud of us for coming here. I started my yoga journey 11 days late, though I hate to use that word. Better late than never! Day 19 was a struggle for me. I have been sick with a head cold the past 3 days, but I’m still dedicated to practice. My breathing was rough, but I still found away. Thank you Adrienne for being so nurturing throughout our practices. It encourages me to come to the mat every time, regardless of what I’m going through/feeling. I feel so strong knowing that I have committed to myself fully and completely.

I really felt the difference today in my soul after whispering “I am strong”. 💪🏽🧘🏽♀️ I was struggling today, remembering my beloved grandmother who raised me and passed away 13 years ago today. Thank you Adriene and this beloved community for showing up even on the days that feel the hardest. 💕

There has been a muscle knot in my back for the past 2.5 weeks and nothing has helped it. Between the relaxing deep breathing yesterday and the flow + my breath today I felt it relax in the final seated twist to the right. *sigh* 😌 The feeling of the cessation of pain you had forgotten you had is the best. Thank you for being my masseuse, therapist, and coach all in one, Adriene. See you tomorrow.

In this class Adriene added turning head left and right in cow, which is for a long time my little ritual each time I do cow (I add kisses also, those with sunken cheeks!), so this made me happy! I enjoyed this day particulary, because I love classes where I can stand longer in stretching positions, and feel my body expanding! One of my favourites

I love how challenging these January practices have been for me. I just celebrated my 69th birthday and sometimes I need to modify the tougher poses, but I never quit. Sometimes I feel sore the following day, and I love that. Adriene, you never disappoint.

Nice!! Ahhh yes - have FUN with yoga practice! When & if I fall - say out of a balance pose; maybe a deep standing twist - I just laugh & get back up & try again! That is a huge "take away" from yoga practice!! 🙏❤
