Nothing hurt today. Smooth peaceful sensation! So nice. Even pigeon did not hurt my knee as it often does. Savoring the moment in this YWA journey 😘

I came today smooth and slowly into the moves. pigeon and the strong twist after it made me smile and sigh deeply🙂.

My experience with this session was alittle tense but enjoyable. Nothing feels nicer than to lie back and hug the knees into the chest, I've grown to love that (plus I like rocking on my back both side to side and back & forth.

I am also finding this year more positive overall so far. It feels like we're all heading in the right direction after a rough couple of years. Doing this yoga journey has definitely helped me with this positive feeling, and the live chat and comments has kept me motivated and wanted to come back.

ADRIENE! Fun fact: I was right on track with my daily yoga practice. Then about 7 minutes into this video on Day 18, I look up from the cat/cow pose to see my boyfriend of 8 years down on one knee proposing to me!!! What I memory! So now I am days behind, but it's worth it. Hope this makes some of you guys smile! Cause I haven't stopped smiling for 3 days!

When I Started I didn’t believe in my commitment with myself. I didn’t believe I could do this practice in the toughest days, or when I was tired, then I’d give up after a week or so. To be here in the 18th day, I’m soooo happy, thank you Adriene to make me realise I’m capable of committing with myself. 🙏 namasté

Reading the email before practicing inspired me to "pay attention to sensation", and "instead of working (too) hard to fit the mold of expectation", I modified (which I rarely do) and did thread the needle instead of pigeon because I've had sharp pain in my knee for the past two days, and pigeon often give me pain when I'm not careful enough. I just focused on sensation and breath, and actually, today has been the day where I felt the most present and calm ! Namaste to all of you, I'm so glad to share this aventure with you all :)

Best Robot Yoga going! I savoured this practice and surprised myself by kissing my thumbs at the final namaste and then I cradled my face, only then noticing what I'd done, I savoured a cuddle I gave myself. A very big step for me in the elusive self love journey. Thank you x

It's 11pm now, I didn't think I'd make it to the mat today. Feeling overwhelmed with joy because I managed to not only get on the mat but also get through the entire video without needing to take a break. It's the first time that's happened to me 😄.

Savouring and being present with our experiences no matter how hard they are really resonates at the moment. I lost my dear dad last year and the grief is rising at the moment, after all this time. Staying with it, tears flow, but also moments of joy. I know the grief will pass as I befriend it. Love and hugs to everyone today. ❤️

I lost my dad in 2020 and the feeling of loss is very much still there. However, At the time I started going back over previous 30day yogas and the healing and the tears flowed. Now I keep coming back as I find comfort in the process. Stick with it! And I’m so sorry for your loss. Nothing can replace your dad but finding peace for yourself is so important. A safe space for tears and memories to move through you. Even if you can’t stick a leg in the air or do a downward dog that day, wrap your arms around yourself and give yourself a big hug x

I have to say, I was so disappointed with myself that I didn't manage to do this on two days. Feeling very low on confidence anyhow at the moment, that didn't help. But then I remembered Adriene's words from a previous journey, where she said something along the lines of "imagine that right now, you are exactly where you need to be" and then I realized that now, slightly behind everyone else, the practices suddenly perfectly align with my days. Yesterday where I could only do it in the late evening, there was the lovely snuggly practice to send me off to bed. Today, where I had time and feeling unusually active (even went for a run for the first time this year), there's this beautiful, slightly longer practice. And as confidence was lagging again during the twist when I saw my skin folds, I said to myself "But look, how strong I am! I am so strong!" and I lifted the corners of my mouth and all was well. And the mantra "My breath is my anchor, my anchor is my breath" has really become a tool for me. A crutch I use when I am feeling weak or unfocused, I use it to draw me back in. Thank you so much Adriene for being there, catching me when I fall and making life so much brighter. Namaste. ❤️

"I am a human being!!..or am I?" I loved this. I came to the mat a lil grumpy after hitting snooze on my alarm, and was met with kindness and love as always. My shoulders surprised me with their creaky tightness, and then almost magically I was met with the perfect stretches for all of my soreness. Thank you Adriene!

Did this practice recently while just looking at recommended videos and must say I am loving going back to 30 day journeys and rediscovering videos I have done in the past that felt sooooo good in the journey and I wanted to revisit! On my first day of my period today and thought this really helped with cramping and pain. So grateful for this amazing archive Adrienne has built for the community! Gratitude and love to all

THIS. This is why I do yoga, and why I love yoga. The savouring is the best part. I actually sometimes get discouraged when a yoga session is all about abs or cardio or something. I still love challenging myself, but sometimes I just need a hug and savouring my practice is the closest thing to a hug that I can think of (that isn’t a person, or a cup of hot chocolate ☺️). Thank you so much Adriene for this video, I will be definitely coming back to it, even when it’s Day 56 of the year, and we’ve moved far past January-Move. This channel means so much to me.

This is my first day back at this challenge after falling off for nearly a month. Before this practice, I was curled up on my bed in a ball hugging a cushion because I felt so anxious. Doing this practice and reading these comments has made me feel so much better 💖

It's technically not day 18 anymore where I am. We have a cold front coming in and my body is not happy about it, and I really considered not doing yoga at all today. But I wanted to, even though my body wasn't excited about it, so I decided "screw it, I'm going to get on the mat and just do what I can do." This was the perfect practice for that. The whole thing ended up feeling easy, even without modifications. I didn't realize how much stronger I had gotten since we began this journey. I'm so grateful for the chance to observe that, and to appreciate the changes in my body. It really is a wonderful thing we're doing here and I can't wait to see what other changes are in store for me.

It's so weird how sometimes you hop on the mat, especially with these 30 day challenges, and it turns out to be exactly what you need in that moment or its easy even if you felt some resistance in getting there. Well done for sticking with it!

Gentle is the word that best describes today. Even though practice was a little longer (not a complaint just pointing out it didn't feel like it), and I twisted my body into various shapes none of it felt forced or hurried. It's very rare we get to savor things. Everything is rush, rush, rush these days or we go places just to take pictures (I'm as guilty as anyone). It's definitely time to put the phone or tablet or expectations or worry about getting to the next thing away, and just breathe and enjoy the moment. Who knew becoming a human sized pretzel could lead to so many revelations? Excellent practice as always. Until tomorrow you beautiful humans. Namaste.

today’s practice done on: * 1/25/22: this was a good reminder that everyone’s yoga journey is different and there’s in not one right way to come to the mat or to transition out of poses to the next. also kind of correlates to real life that everyone is on their own path, and it’s definitely not looking the same

It's okay, it's about the journey & being present in all you do rather than counting the number of days you got to your mat. Today I have realised that you CAN NOT just go through the motions of life. If you are then CHANGE YOUR LIFE because you can! I can, we all can! The participating community alone is magic to savour when the video is released on you tube. I always feel one with the world, with comrdes in spirit and mind and I try to savour this feeling whenever I get to the daily practice "on time"! It was again just beautiful today and , over and over again, a very important practice for me to focus on the inside first and really savour where I am at in the moment and then move on to the exterior_ difficult at many times, but I am getting better and today helped again ! ANd it is so much fun communicating with everyone in the live chat and with you as "AI", during practice, the little silly moments of joy are so important to savour as well- thank you Adriene! By the way : Benji really seems to savour his time behind the plant!

Yes! The first day I started with the live chats, I could picture Earth from space and I imagined seeing all of us together as little lights shining into space while being connected almost like a net covering the globe. Magic. It’s pure magic. 🖤

I am so happy and proud of myself in accepting my sister's invitation to join her in this 30 day yoga challenge. I am really enjoying showing up for myself and your guided in yoga practice. I've done yoga poses up until now - but never followed a yoga guide. I feel amazing physically, energy and spiritually. I am loving this new healthy connection with myself and also my sister through this journey. Thank you! Loved todays twist - my Solar Plexus chakra feels cleansed , loved and ignited!

This days I feel very imbalanced, I feel in some moments very sad and I just do not know sometimes how to feel better. If you are on same page as me, just breathe, take one practice and give yourself just at least half hour for this. Trust me, you will feel better, at least for that half hour, and I pray for you to feel better even more. Thank Adriene for helping me overcome, to teaching me how to overcome bad days and feelings, I am grateful for you ❤

I noticed today that my body and mind were in agreement today; this is my second breakthrough and it felt so good and powerful to realize I wasn't forcing anything, wasn't convincing myself/my body that this is what's best for us. that is what I savored today. the pure joy and warmth I felt doing todays practice. Everyday I get stronger in my body and more peaceful and present in my mind. Hope that doesn't sound to silly. I honestly thought just being able to show up and power through this 30 day challenge would be enough but after today I think I just became a life-long yoga practitioner. I love you Adriene! and thank you for all you do.

I am not at all a morning person (night owl here). I have to get up 30 min early to do this before my day starts. When my alarm goes off, I groan, but then I think about getting to be here with Adrienne, and I pop out of bed. I have never made it past day 2 or 3 before, but this year, I find myself really looking forward to this each morning…even though it is super hard 9I am so tight!). Great way to start the day. Thank you.

I received some disappointing news today and felt the overwhelm of life slowly starting to creep in and let me just say that having this practice to look forward to was my saving grace. Today I felt my body move with the breath and felt the anxiety melt away as I savored each pose. Thank you! Day 18 WOW

I can't get over how perfectly each day of these challenges fits in with my own personal needs. On days where I'm tired, Adriene brings out an easy practise. On days where I'm feeling energised - again the practise fits! Today I was so worried because I tweaked a nerve in my neck and can't turn left without pain - I was so sad that I wasn't going to be able to do my practise, and yet by "coincidence" I made it through the entire session without one move triggering that injury. It's honestly astonishing!

I've missed a couple of days but I am back on track! It's after midnight where I am right now and I honestly can't complain that I waited until now to do this practice. It was exactly what I needed tonight. This practice hit the spot. Preparing for snow and school work down my way, so wish me luck! For now, I shall relax, focus on my breath, and go head to sleep. I had surgery in September to remove cancerous tumors from my liver. I started this journey to ease back into using my core. Today I was able to do a downward dog and plank for the first time! I am so happy I am on this journey! Thank you!

Today I was really cross with myself - I just can't breathe when I do those binds behind the back and it made me rage. The massive sitting twist then made me cry. So a weird day on the mat for me today! hopefully wringing out something I no longer need. Thank you Adriene, every day is different ❤

I just want to say how much this 30 day practice has helped me so far.. I'm dealing with so many problems right now (healthwise and emotionally) and it has given me the strength to go on. I ended today's practice by having a gratefulness moment. As Adriene whispered namaste, I wispered "namaste Adriene, thank you... And most importantly thank you, me, for consistently showing up for 18!! Days, for loving yourself, for caring about yourself, for breathing, for being present" A little positive self talk always goes a long way. Treat yourself as if you're the most important person in the world (which is true! You're the most important person in your world.) and love yourself unconditionally ❤️ I know it's easier said than done, but you have to realize it someday. You are important and valuable,, treat yourself like the queen/ king you are! Namaste...

Hi Adriene, I usually dont comment on videos but I felt I have to write this. 2 yrs back I subscribed to your channel and it's been an amazing journey. I was unemployed since 2 yrs and landed a job today..my journey as you keep saying was towards inward finding my own self and it reflected in my resume somehow🙂 it got better and better and today during interview a few moments of restlessness just your words of "my breathing is my anchor and my anchor is my breathing" calmed me so much that I could perform so well to get appointed on same day. You have no idea how greatful I am to you for this yoga journey which is both on and off the mat for me. Thank you 🙏🙏
