90’s music!!!! Music continues to be a saving grace for me! It is 150% mental! The physical pain is the easy part but you definitely have the intelligence to know the right path and you will continue to walk the path of recovery man! You seem much more upbeat now! Bro, you need to be proud of yourself man! Do you know how many people wouldn’t have half the balls you do!? You earned my respect already, there is something about you man, I just know you are going to figure this out and overcome! Please understand that you have something amazing Jason, you have intellect man, I can tell that you just know..... it is A or B man.... life as a slave to opiates or recovery. It really is that simple. A month or so of feeling shitty is far better then a lifetime of active addiction bro! You are inspiring me man with your thoughts so keep it up brother!!! ✌🏼❤️

I'm really grateful to Roberta for bringing you and this recovery family to me. REALLY grateful. Your videos have helped me a ton, keeping my mind on the fact that this IS a mental battle - one I can fight, or let defeat me. I won't accept defeat. I'm so ready to fight this, Shane. Thanks for having my back, man. 😊🙏

Good job Jason and great outlook!👍 One can’t expect to overcome a 13 year addiction in a week. You can recover & do this!💛We are all here for you.😊 P.S. I also watch horror movies during the holiday season; it can be a stressful/depressing time of year. I just watched Dracula the other night. Lol

Thanks, Renee! (And yes, every year I stock up on horror movies, to counteract all the holiday movies! ;) Lol

Back on track! That's great, Babe! I love horror movies. I like to make lists, because I just do lol, and I think I have almost watched all the horrors movies on Netflix....even the ones not in English. I am about to finish the 8th season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic tonight. 🙂🙂

@@TheseFourWalls I remember watching the first Nightmare on Elm Street when I was about 5. Still the scariest movie. When I get scared, I cover my eyes, but still look through finger cracks lol

I’m also in this weird spot where I’m on and off, like one day I’ll take loads of loperamide (Imodium), which does actually help, next 2 days nothing, then have work so I take something that morning, then off 2 days so I’ll have nothing the first day, but then panic and take loperamide the next day, and feel 50% at work. And repeat. Coming from 2x a day use it’s a big improvement and not bad, but I wasted a week time off work I had last week messing with a weird loperamide taper where I also used halfway through. I have work tomorrow (Wednesday and Thursday), and I’m likely to break today and get something because I’m feeling withdrawals and worried I’ll wake up in full blown withdrawals, can’t be off work, but I’m away abroad Monday next week for 14 days. So I’m at another crossroads of “do I get enough to survive 14 days and tackle it when I’m back”, or “do I take nothing the couple days before we go, and risk ruining the trip for not only me but wife and kid going into withdrawal or feeling off?” Last thing I wanna do is go through the stress of travelling with a 2 year old when I’m supposed to be excited withdrawing.. I was lucky to have a week off and then 2 weeks off not even a month later, just had to use the time up, and I feel like I ruined it because I was feeling sick overnight and today feel mild withdrawals. Dammit

@@MaineReactor Pisces and Virgos have a lot of similarities, in terms of personality traits, like being overly analytical thinkers and stuff. I think that's what makes Pisces such compatible friends with me. :)

Men I was addicted to Percocet I know how your feeling men is like a disconnecting feeling from the world. Feel like your ego has been taken away. I only been clean off opiates for about 4 months as is not really the physical part but more the mentally part is really hard. I know I still need more time to fully recover. but sobriety is great and get busy you got this

Thank you so much, for your encouraging comment. I know I've got a long road ahead of me, to mentally conquer... But, then again, I'm leaving a long road behind. So I'm beginning to feel real pride in myself. Congratulations on your 4 months, man! Keep up the great work! ✌😊
