Another wonderful lesson, thank you Alfons! Leg movement wasn’t part of the lesson but I did this right after a long walk and my hips and ankles needed some recovery movement so I would occasionally bend my knees and take them apart a bit, resting my feet on each other. I found that bending my knees facilitated more movement in my chest and neck, even after I lowered my shins back to the floor. By the end of this lesson not only did I have beautiful liberation throughout my rib cage, but my hips felt more open and my shoulders felt great. No longer surprising to me is that the top of my right foot, which couldn’t lay flat when I began, was relaxed and resting on the ground by the end. Feldenkrais magic 🪄 strikes again!
