Hey guys, I have noted all your comments and I am currently working on a Q&A video to answer everything.

I’m 20 years old going through the military route (Airforce reserves) for cyber security my job will be cyber Defense and I’ll be receiving a top secret clearance. I obviously want to have a career outside of the military ofc. Which is why I chose this position. I want to try and hopefully score a SOC analyst position after tech school this year (very ambitious and kinda unrealistic yes but I think I should still try.) I’m near the Boston area so I think there’s probably a good amount of positions. Just wondering if you have any advice for me that could help. Oh I also I plan on getting a degree while (hopefully) having a job. It’ll be an online degree due to the fact that I probably won’t be able to juggle the air-force, a job, and school at the same time.

I'm a civilian employee for DoD in Cyber. Being doing it for 16 yrs. Didn't start out the military route went to school for it. I've noticed there won't be a real problem with you obtaining a position outside of the military do to being a Vet. However, make sure to obtain certs. They started changing the certs up now of what's required. By the time you get out military if you're looking to go Chief /Director/Management in Cyber go for CISSP cert. I always tell people if you get into the IT field be prepared to want to learn because it changes all the time. Like I'm getting Doctrate in AI & Machine Language while taking certs towards cloud security just to keep myself up on what's new.

I really appreciate the way you break down the hidden truths about starting a career in cybersecurity in your video. Your insights on the challenges, skills employers are looking for, and how to stand out in such a fast-paced field are incredibly helpful. With that in mind, what do you consider the most challenging path in cybersecurity when starting from scratch, especially after completing Google certifications? Based on your experiences, which certifications or paths might be more accessible or straightforward for someone just getting started?

Bro are from the UK? Can't tell by the accent, its all over the place haha! I'm starting in cyber security, currently doing certs but I see the industry in the Uk isn't too big and not a lot of info out there. Also the pay ain't great compared to US. I can tell you're may be from the UK but you're in America, not sure but your journey looks intriguing to me. If you were from the UK, what was your roadmap in cyber security?

I'm not too far man. I'm currently cooking a video talking about how i would restart my tech journey so stay tuned. The UK industry is bigger than you might think, but i do agree with you on the pay. It's one of the lowest I've seen in a "big" country
