My husband and I are finishing up on building our first home! I’m just so excited to sit on the front porch with the love of my life and watch the sky change beautiful colors. Nothing sounds more dreamy than a wooden rocking chair on the front porch with a sweet tea and a good book 🥹 I’m also looking forward to my church’s youth camp. I homeschool and this summer my girls and I are going to build a big fruit and veggie garden. Praying the Lord gives us a wonderful harvest. This summer I’m looking forward to slowing down and truly enjoying the hot weather here in Texas with my children. Last summer was tough for us we lost our home, rent was so high and our credit too low that we couldn’t even get a rental so we traveled with my husband for work we had no idea how our near future would look but we survived and God blessed us 8 months later with a rental here in Texas with a backyard for my children to play and a fresh start. For everyone out there, You are never in a bad season it’s a season of learning, God is is refining , strengthening, and molding you. Every season is beautiful. Smile God is with you wherever you go. Going to Alaska has been near the top of my bucket list for four years now, but I've never been able to make it happen. My interest in it was recently renewed by news of a friend moving there, and so I've finally booked the trip.
