If you are entering the medical sales rep route I would take certificate courses on medical device sales while going to pursuit your bachelors in sales and marketing I am a medical sales rep who deals with these devices and or you can finish a 12 week program at a medical device sales school online for twelve weeks and do certificates on the side after regardless on how you do it it will grant you experience to enter the medical sales device route most sales reps who hire other sales reps are looking for experience but some want someone’s who’s fresh so that they can build there confidence

But if you enter this field of work let me tell you it’s a lot of hardwork sometimes you have to sacrifice weekends to achieve a good deal and well this is not a job for the weak you have to have bones of steel or thick skin to go into this , plus you need people skills because this is a job of only communicating with your clients so a lot of talking and interacting , also you have to keep up with follow ups , plus a lot of driving scince 80% of the work involved travel so if you can not do that this is not the field for you also big money is not the goal or the mission of this job it is service the people who are servicing the patients doctors or medical practitioners so if your doing this to chase the money and yes it is very good money on average the starting salary of a medical sales rep is 98000 dollars a year with sales commission which if you are good can average over 200,000 dollars a year if not more so do with clean and kind hearted intentions and be truthful and honest also never give indirect questions give direct questions when you are making a pitch and be honest if you don’t know something please tell people within your team that do know never lie and once the trust factor sets in you will be successful go luck on your journey and have fun while doing it
