A contractor I know told me that leaving mattresses on the floor traps the moisture that is drawn into the mattress by body heat. This can cause mold because air can't circulate around the mattress. I really don't want to come off as critical, but I want your kiddos to be safe! ❤ Love your videos Sarah, especially the vlogs with your adorable family!

Floor beds Montessori teaches us best for newborn to 2 yr old. Then you are suppose to add a platform. Baby mattress are created differently and children most likely don't create as much of qn issue as an adult body would. Short period of time and the benefits are enormous.

You have talked about having more children, and you are most definitely suited to being a mama! I had 7 children, and even though I'm now 56, it definitely keeps one young! And believe me, one more really doesn't make more trouble, in fact, when you said about the children entertaining themselves, the more the merrier!!

@@RollimggiantI am so sorry to hear that sweetheart, it's that bit of one's heart that will always hurt. I, too, lost some babies early on, also a darling baby girl, Angel, at 22 weeks, and my beautiful, middle daughter, Madeleine, died when she was 18yo. It's difficult, as you know, but the love is tenfold. I have no grandchildren yet, 'we have careers mum!' (..careers?!.. give me grand babies!!) but hopefully soon! 😁 😁 Much love, Monica. Xx

It’s so nice to see another mom encouraging kids to entertain themselves. I have a few friends who are moms and they’ll get so stressed if they don’t have activities planned for every minute of the day. Just let them play and figure things out for themselves! And my five year old will sing jingle bells and deck the halls all year round haha
@lindseystein96765 жыл бұрын
Obviously, I’m not saying it’s appropriate to leave a one year old unsupervised outside. And it goes without saying everyone’s homes should be properly babyproofed with gates at staircases, latches on drawers, outlet covers, etc. to prevent the examples you provided. I’m more refering to the fact that we shouldn’t be afraid to let children find things to do themselves, to use their imaginations and pretend around the house. I’m just saying it’s all too common that mothers obsess over having a daily schedule packed with a million structured activities each day, ignoring the need for children to use their imagination more and that it’s okay for kids to play by themselves sometimes.
@lindseystein96765 жыл бұрын
I’m not refering to babies. And I’m not talking about leaving kids completely unattended for long periods of time. I’m simply stating that it’s okay to let your kid free play in the other room while you’re doing things around the house. A lot of parents feel the need to have a full schedule of structured activities all day and are afraid of the mere thought of a kid being “bored.” I’m just saying that it’s fine to let your kids imagination run and come up with things on their own and it’s okay for them to play by themselves- it’s fine not to have daily play dates and a packed schedule.

The work out with your kids part was so cute 😍. I don't know if one can talk about luck here (or about a well made choice or something) but I think you're so lucky to be able to stay at home with kids. I know being a stay at home mom is pretty much a full time job itself, especially with three little kids. But still you're able to enjoy your time with your children, watch them grow up and to a lots of things for the first time and shape and support them in the most important years of their development which will define them for the future. If I am ever going to have children myself (I've never even had a boyfriend yet and being 22, I'm ok with that), I would love to have this opportunity as well, even though I'd probably miss my job after a while. I think children grow up too fast and I wouldn't want to lose those precious moments and one-time opportunities ☺.

I would love a video with tips on how to get a lot of work done when your kiddos are sleeping. I am a "working, stay at home mom" as I like to call it. I stay at home with my children and work approximately 30hr/week from home all at the same time. I feel like I struggle with getting enough work done while my kids sleep, and so my work is interfering with my kiddos time. How do you manage to get so much work done when your kids are asleep? That they support GAYS. that makes me love them even more. I was brought up a Christian. I find so much judgement from Christians and just close minded hypocrites using the religion to their liking. As an adult I knew that it wasn't for me. The church is against homosexuality but supports priest practicing it on little boys. Helps hide them even. I discovered Buddhism and i began living my life that way. I don't judge others im trying to not even judge christianity. I live a different life now. I have what i need not what i desire. I find joy in people and nature. I eat to live not live to eat. I dont eat anything with a heartbeat. I don't purchase things that I don't absolutely need
