This aspect of life long learning is what attracts me to the profession of surgery.

I strongly agree. The idea of everlasting knowledge sounds incredible.

The Aircraft industry is the same. Some people don't realise that even after you graduate, you will be sitting exams and taking tests until the day you retire. Best wishes from Limerick Eire.

THREE black doctors in one video! God bless you for showing us it is possible! Role models! When/where can we watch the podcast with Dr. Lee?

Great to see how you get hands-on continuous education and training. I'm so glad, too, to see that people like you and the other docs are able to travel and congregate freely for events and opportunities like this now since the end of the pandemic restrictions. Good things are happening!!

Loved the video! I’m wondering if you’ve ever liked a new technique that you learned so much that you’ve replaced the old way you did it?

Imagine being someone watching this 1000 years from now thinking how barbaric this looks. But to us its state of the art. I find that fascinating.

@looaxe6468, I'm with you. I often do the same thing when watching videos on KZbin about old tech such as computers in the 60s, and especially when the poster of the video comments on how far we have come, then I start thinking about how primitive, technologically and otherwise, we will appear to someone thousands, or millions, and even billions of years from now

I am a medical student when ever i have beard it is very difficult for me to wear masks. How do you manage this with a beard? And second question is are facial hairs and long hairs of surgeons responsible for post op infection ? Is there any data that suppport such claim
@dsolo3250
@dsolo3250 9 ай бұрын
Facial hair or hair of any kind is forbidden in the OR. Providers care less and less as time goes on. They wear make up, jewellery chew gum and talk to much. All sources of infection
