Korea was fun, lots and lots of drinking, very tight knit unit u see eachother alot, played battalion football with my 1st Sgt, beat him for the starting QB spot, which he loved me for cause he was pretty good too, drank with my 1st Sgt, got a huge coin from the inscom commanding general...general Alexander a 3 star, during a change of command, cause I was the best 98H in country at the time, good times miss them guys ...spec4 2001-2002

One of the deal breakers for my dad leaving the army back in the 90s was getting sent to South Korea. He said he just never got used to it and yeah sure he had good experiences but it wasn’t for him.

@@NarutoOnDope they are incorrect. Please google military rotation and military deployment. Two different terms and they mean two different things. 9 month rotations to Germany, Poland, Korea etc are rotations. 9 months in Iraq, Afghanistan, Jordan, etc are deployments.
