I really enjoyed your review. This game is GREAT. I agree it might be a little swingy in true solo, but because it’s so fun to play and has interesting interplay between factions if I play it alone I might actually do it two handed solo, controlling two nations. I love the theme for sure, but the game itself has such a dynamic and satisfying feel, I hope it gets the appreciation it deserves. I almost feel like some people might think that they aren’t interested because it’s made by the “Pandemic Guy” and assuming it’s a reiteration on that system, but it’s just not, I’m going to be teaching this one a lot.

We played this at the Uganda Village Boardgame Convention and really enjoyed it, though have not managed to survive. Did you feel that it was easy or difficult to make it through the game?

A lot depends on the crisis cards. You can make the game easier by seeding the deck with easier cards early. Then, once you get to know the combos, it becomes very manageable.
