The subframe looks really good Agatha red paint. I have a question 🤔, can you fit the subframe without putting the arms on. Just to make the subframe lighter for fitting? Or do you have to have it built up like yours?

Now my burning question, which is one I keep getting asked. As I have a mini in a very similar condition, is it viable cost wise to do it like this or should I just buy a heritage shell?

I guess it depends on if you are doing the welding yourself or paying someone to do it. It also depends what part of the world you are in and the legal requirements are for a repair or a re shell . I couldnt spend over 11k on a new shell and i think you lose any sense of achievement of saving as much as possible of the original car but everyone is different i guess
